Miss Swan typically did not provide her services to animals, but she had received a rather lucrative offer from Dr. Cox, and she couldn't pass it up. Accordingly, she owled the lucky recipient of the services.

Stephen,

I'm having serious problems juggling everything and you don't really need a TA since you manage fine on your own. Would it be okay if I resigned? I'll help you find a replacement if you think you need one and of course I'm willing to go on teaching Sarah, officially or unofficially, whichever you prefer. Seriously sorry about this, and if for some reason you do actually need me, I'll shift everything around somehow to make time since I really am sorry that I can't figure out a better way to balance all my responsibilities.

~Ryuuji

Professor Lupin,

Dr. Cox suggested that I owl you about taking some genderchange potion to pose nude for the Unnamed Hogwarts school paper. So, I'm doing so. If this request is in any way offensive, please feel free to ignore it since I have no intention of being insulting but am merely trying to provide a nice counterpoint to the promised vampire erotica.

Sincerely,

Ryuuji Otogi, Editor-In-Chief.

Hey, everybody. Due to some stuff going on with my life lately, I'm going to have to popcorn Yuuri. Anybody who wants him can take him, but only if you promise to be good to Wolfram-mun and actually be active, unlike my slacker self.

Some of you may know that I'm having medical issues that will last through to the end of September, so my other characters will be on hiatus. I will try to keep Tim available to tie up his remaining plots.

Okay, some of you are familiar with how successful my 'hiatuses' tend to be, BUT. The famous (in IRC) Bogo is moving away a week from today, which means A. I have a boatload of Grown-Up Stuff to do and B. I want to spend as much time with my lil' bruv as possible.

So my net time is going to be cut down dramatically until Monday. BUT! Any time I have got will probably be spent on IRC, so I won't be gone entirely.

ICly, Gogo -is- still around, she just... can't really be bothered talking to anyone outside of the Suite. (I neglect Gimli and Charlie so much they could be doing anything.)

Til Monday! :)

Primavera's matrix contained ... stories. Iggy had likened them to silent films, captivating and horrible, and he could watch them through her umbilicus. Where Primavera came from, people used dreamscapers and virtual reality tanks to escape their dreary lives for a little while. Primavera was a dreamscaper unto herself.

This world, where Hogwarts was, didn't have anything near the kind of technology Primavera's did. It did have things she could adapt to her own purposes. A sensory deprivation tank plus the workings of her own matrix worked as well as any dreamscaper would have done for the aitch-men Primavera despised.

However, Primavera had a short attention span, easily grew tired of new toys. After she'd had it for about two weeks, the tank sat unused in a corner of her room, acquiring an armour of discarded clothes and other things Primavera tossed over it or piled on it. Gogo had tried it once and deemed it "boring." It languished forgotten.

Gogo remembered it, though, when she saw the calming effect that floating in the prefects' bath had on Nny, and came to ask Primavera for its loan. Prima went her one better. "That thing? I don't care what you do with it. You can keep it!"

So, a troop of house-elves brought the isolation tank ("not so much sensory deprivation as stimulus reduction") from Primavera's room to Nny's. They hoped they could avoid bumping into anything. They'd like to keep their ears.

Not everyone was meant to be a international jet-setter. Grant had spent the last two days either in an airport or on a plane. The four-hour security lines? At least he had a book. Having to toss his shaving kit? Understandable, given the circumstances. Sleeping in a plastic molded chair because his connecting flight had been delayed three hours? He'd slept on more uncomfortable things. The kicker had been the screaming infant on the ten-hour flight to Heathrow. Even now he couldn't get the sound of that beast's wailing out of his head. Sighing, he picked up his bag and walked up toward the castle. Maybe he could swing by the Hospital Wing for a cure to ease the headache that was making his temples throb.

((I'm back! I've got new nifty high-speed internet, so expect to see a lot more of Grant, Damien, Oliver, Roxy, Carmen, and Dieter. [Is it even possible to see more of Dieter? Unless you turn him inside out, I think we've already seen all there is to see.]))

The adventures of Kira and Setsuna going nowhere, installment 2, part 1/2.
Continued here.

[[OOC: This is backdated to about...three weeks ago, I believe.

Warnings: I believe S&M discussion, Setsuna and Kira talking about the usual.... Nothing out of the ordinary, for them. Oh - Kira trying to dominate Setsuna twice in public? Yeah, I think that's a definite warning, even though it's completely innocent, I swear.]]

ExpandSetsuna is prevented from leaving Europe, but he's the winner in the seme versus uke conversation, pays for the meal, and completely blows Kira's chances of getting laid anytime soon for him. Not to mention Kira almost gets his head verbally chewed off for calling Setsuna cute - and Kira never manages to top Setsuna for more than five minutes. Setsuna - 4, Kira - 1, Life - 1. Setsuna so pwns today. )
