What god-modding there is has been approved. Topic and action likely to wander to NSFW areas and possibly triggery.
It had taken him longer to recover than he expected, but Kusuriyuri had finally convinced Kurama that he was well enough to return to his office for the day. He had almost had to threaten his lover with wards to make Kurama go to the greenhouses. He was just finishing preparing to leave when there was a soft knock at the door. Frowning at the wards that thought about identifying the presence as Kuronue but wouldn't commit, Kusuriyuri opened the door, not surprised the knocker was Yukimura, though he was surprised to see the samurai.
"I am sorry to bother you so early," Yukimura said, bowing. "As well as at your home, but I have something I wish to speak with you about in private."
Kusuriyuri tilted his head and looked at Yukimura. A contented exhaustion overlayed a deeper sense of concern. He returned the bow and stepped back. "Please, come in. Good morning." He wondered how long Yukimura had been waiting to be sure Kurama had left for the day.
Yukimura smiled as he walked past the peddler, stepping out of his shoes easily before entering the main portion of the house. "Good morning and thank you for your indulgence."
Kusuriyuri led Yukimura to the living room and gestured for him to take a seat. He watched while the samurai knelt between the couch and the table. Kusuriyuri knelt opposite him and waited.
Boukensha crawled into Kusuriyuri's lap and Belophoebe sniffed at Yukimura before hopping up on the couch behind his head, turning to deliberately ignore him except for her tail that draped over his shoulder.
Yukimura reached up and brushed her tail, causing ti to twitch and then settle again on his shoulder. "First, I want to thank you for everything you have done for us, Kuronue and myself. Words only are not enough."
"You have done much for us, as well," Kusuriyuri murmured. He knew that Yukimura's relationship with Kurama and Kuronue helped the fox in many ways.
A smile crossed Yukimura's lips. "I also know that we are far more in your debt." He reached up and caressed Bel's tail, amusement in his features as her tail flicked around his neck, lingering, before settling on his shoulder again. His expression sobered as his hand settled in his lap. "And I am here to place myself more in your debt."
While it was expected, Kusuriyuri's eyebrow went up. "This one does not consider you in his debt," he said formally. "As to your request, this one is a medicine peddler."
"True, but as to whether what I ask is within your trade..." Yukimura protested, his hand coming up to caress Bel's tail again.
"Ease your mind, then, and make your request," Kusuriyuri suggested after watching Yukimura pet the cat's tail a long moment.
Sighing, Yukimura said, "It is a difficult thing, but Kuronue did agree to this." He looked at Kusuriyuri. "Kuronue is still having nightmares. He doesn't always recognize me when I try to soothe or wake him. While he has only snarled at me in his sleep, this is a newer development and I would not care to see it become worse."
Kusuriyuri bowed to Yukimura. "This is a difficult thing," he murmured.
Nodding, Yukimura continued, "And, neither of us is used to asking for help. But, I do not wish to have you obliged, either. I remember that thing Apos threw at you."
"Once this one's body accepted it, it has ceased to be a problem." Nor would it be one in the future with Apos trapped in the sinning tree.
"That is good to hear. I would not want you to come to permanent harm." There was genuine relief in the samurai's voice.
"What is it that you would ask of this one?" Kusuriyuri asked. "What you have said does sound as though it would be within the scope of a medicine peddler."
"It is more complex than that," Yukimura said carefully. "To allow himself to be open enough, he needs more than I am able to give him."
Kusuriyuri frowned slightly. "More?"
"Yes," Yukimura nodded. "Violence and sex are very closely tied in his mind. I tend to be more gentle unless he provokes me, and even then, I am not as harsh as he desires sometimes. But, when he receives such treatment, his mind is more open."
"Is that so?" Kusuriyuri murmured. "That may be why Akabane affected him so deeply."
A wry expression crossed Yukimura's face, his eyes hardening. "Perhaps, but we both would like him to reach a level of peace rather than just burying his heart again. I would rather he healed."
The image of Ro impinged on Kusuriyuri's mind. He'd kept his distance but he had seen how very weak and injured that part of Kuronue's mind had been. "Healing cannot be forced," he said carefully.
"I know. I also am aware that things between us may change. I also know that things may become worse before they improve." Yukimura held up his hand. "I trust and respect your judgement, both in regard to whether you'll accept and what you tell Kurama. If you will not, there will be nothing more spoken of this."
Kusuriyuri was silent a long moment, stroking Boukensha as he thought. "I would speak with Kuronue alone first," he said slowly. While he understood why Yukimura approached him—things between him and Kuronue were still somewhat awkward despite the recent changes in their relationship—he needed to know this was truly what Kuronue wanted, that he was prepared.
"Of course," Yukimura said. His eyes went unfocused for a moment and he rose. "He will be here soon," he said, bowing. "Thank you."
Kusuriyuri rose before returning the bow. "It is what is done," he said as Yukimura walked to the hall.
"By some," Yukimura said, turning as he stepped into his shoes. "Those who are indeed worthy of regard," he added with a bow, stepping out of the door.

Show Mamechiho he was a demon? Wouldn't she...be afraid?

And his wings, the wings that were too-small and had been a cause of near constant angst until recently, she wanted to taste them? "Oh, Mame-chan...She deserves a new kimono or ten..."

If she spoke like Yukimura said she did, then she'd quickly become as skilled with speaking sensually as with any other manner of conversation. Still, the idea of delaying with the intention of shopping wasn't quite something he thought he could bear for the moment. "NO. I mean--after?" tempering his tone until he sounded hopeful, Kuronue raised his eyebrows a little, gave a sheepish smile.
And hoped to all the gods that Yukimura agreed.

"Alright," he said, looking over at Yukimura. "Shall we take a port-key to Japan?" In the past he'd just port-keyed to Mamechiho's teahouse, asked for her presence.

Date: 2011-08-22 12:20 pm (UTC)He took hold of the port-key. "Well...I'm glad that you have both been getting along so well." Short of what he'd wanted to say, lame. He smiled at Yukimura instead.

Date: 2011-08-22 12:25 pm (UTC)"Ah, so that is how you arrive," a soft voice, proper for a geisha, greeted them. "And, danna, it is good to see you well," she added with a bow for Kuronue. With her makeup, it was impossible to see her blush, but her eyes were definitely brighter, her pupils dilated as she looked at them.

Date: 2011-08-22 12:33 pm (UTC)He swallowed thickly. She look beautiful, as always. "Mamechiho, it's been far too long," he said, voice a little husky. He wanted to hug her, but he looked at Yukimura instead. Would he get beaten for this?

Date: 2011-08-22 12:39 pm (UTC)Mamechiho tilted her head, her eyes lingering a long moment on Kuronue before returning to Yukimura. "Will you be punishing him, then?" she asked, her voice utterly polite even though her interest was quite obvious.
"I will be, at first." He reached for Kuronue's hand, pulling him out from behind the tree. "As you can see, he has been misbehaving," he added, pointing to his pants. "That, just from me talking to him."
Her eyes widened, her lips parting. "Oh, yes, indeed. It will be about an hour, to prepare." Her eyes returned to Kuronue's wings and her tongue touched her lips. "Is there anything else I can do to prepare?" she asked.
"Not just yet, Mame-chan. But, I will require your assistance later, if you are willing," Yukimura replied, his eyes looking at Kuronue's wings, though his head didn't move.
Mamechiho bowed. "Of course. In an hour, at Kanae's place. You remember it?"
"Yes, thank you," Yukimura bowed then turned to Kuronue. "It's time to go shopping, love. Hide your wings. We don't need more attention than that which we came seeking."

She bowed to him, a little deeper than she had for Yukimura. He was her patron after all. She took her leave to make arrangements, slipping through the garden easily.
With wandless magic, even though it made something in his head tingle awfully, Kuronue manage to cast a spell on his wings and ears. For the moment, they didn't exist. Kuronue looked at Yukimura, quickly became almost transfixed. "I forgot," he said rather lamely, giving an apologetic smile.

He hadn't the faintest idea where to go, though apparently Yukimura knew a little more than he about the places here. He hadn't really a clue who Kanae was.

Date: 2011-08-22 01:07 pm (UTC)Kuronue turned his attention to the streets around him. It was much more comfortable than the surroundings at Hogwarts, which seemed empty and deserted at times. They were passing by some shops, but the kimono there were, in his opinion, not good enough, and the fact that Yukimura hadn't lead them near them was indication enough that Yukimura thought so too. He was glad.

Date: 2011-08-22 01:12 pm (UTC)He turned into a small shop that, from the outside, seemed to be closed, and inside was a wall of drawers along both walls leading to a clerk's desk at the back. The clerk looked up, scowling at first, then beginning to smile. "Ah, welcome. Are you here for that?" he asked.
Yukimura bowed. "This is Mamechiho's danna. He will make the final selection," he said as the man opened a drawer to reveal a beautiful kimono covered in peach blossoms and butterflies.

Date: 2011-08-22 01:29 pm (UTC)The look on the shopkeeper's face was interesting, especially how it changed when Yukimura was noticed. it was difficult to be civil, presentable, with those images in his head. Clearing his throat, Kuronue gave a slight bow, which was returned. He felt a little inadequately dressed to be called a danna, but he had the finances to back it up.
When he saw the kimono he almost gasped. It'd look wonderful on her. "Oh. That's beautiful. It would suit her." He stepped forward to the drawer, ran fingertips over the woven silk. He could already see it on her. "She picked this one out herself?" he asked, looking to the shopkeeper and then Yukimura. She had wonderful tastes, something he'd expected and was gratified to see.
He wondered if she liked light colours. He thought she'd look wonderful in a vivid blue with red and white under kimono. But this...it was a mark above what had been in the other stores.

Date: 2011-08-23 12:17 am (UTC)"He is interested in a second as well," Yukimura added, continuing to show Kuronue memories of his times with Mame-chan, both alone and with Kanae. He was more used to the double-talk than Kuronue, though usually he was acting out the dirty thoughts and talking cleanly. "Perhaps one for Bon Odori (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bon_Festival)," Yukimura suggested.
The shopkeeper's eyes widened a touch when Yukimura said Kuronue wanted a second kimono, but he bowed, his expression returning to neutral quickly. "Did the gentleman have any suggestions as to what he would prefer?" he asked deferentially, bowing to Kuronue.

Date: 2011-08-23 01:14 am (UTC)"Blue?" the shopkeeper murmured, turning and frowning at the walls of drawers. He turned around to face the other wall and moved down a couple more rows, his fingers held out before him, ready to open a drawer. Then, he snatched a drawer open to reveal a blue backgrounded kimono with peacock feathers and multi-colored flower (http://www.floridata.com/ref/c/caes_pul.cfm) Yukimura couldn't identify on it. He found it quite lovely, though, but the decision was Kuronue's.
