My college choir is going on tour to the barren wastelands of Portland, Oregon until Sunday. My internet access is going to be nonexistent spotty, so don't expect to see anything from Dr. Grant, Damien, Inara, or Oliver Wood for a few days. On a nifty note, one of the high schools we are visiting is the one that was used in Mr. Holland's Opus. How cool is that?

Hi all! I (goddess_bell) and Bran Davies (branaparthur) are finally able to return from the limbo our mun consigned us to for the last few months.

*mun pushes Bell aside* Yes, thanks, dear. Yeah, I think I will be able to come back and at least participate in applications, and a little bit of rp, though my rp time is basically limited due to, well, having a boyfriend and a job. So I will do the best I can, and be happy to be back in the crazy!

ps. is anyone here very good with colour-based manips? I need some icons for Bran!

Sgt. Bothari looked around the Hufflepuff common room. The fast-penta had worn off, and he had been briefed on his new location -- Hogwarts School, on planet Earth -- and on his house assignment. Beyond this, he didn't know what was going on, really. The last thing he remembered with complete certainty was -- dying. Then he ended up in the interrogation room, and then here ... Had he been cryo-frozen and revived? The technology existed, but why would anyone go to the trouble for the likes of him?

Feeling awkward, but showing no signs of it in the uncannily lithe movements of his lean frame, he claimed one of the overstuffed armchairs, a chair he'd really feel more comfortable standing behind or next to while a Vorkosigan sat in it. His huge and lumpy duffle bag he kept at his feet, resting one shiny boot atop it. Guess I'll have to stow this someplace, soon.

Hey, it would be terrific if I could practice the old fencing routine with you guys...though I'm pretty rusty, I have to admit... But, yeah, that would be terrific, it really would. I don't really mind if the equipment smells like someone's goddamn armpit or anything, to tell you the truth, the equipment at my old school wasn't too hot either...

Oh, by the way, I found a copy of "The Heart of Darkness" in the bottom of my goddamn luggage when I was unpacking, I really can't believe I have a copy, so, you can keep it since I don't really like it too much, depresses the hell outta me. I'll give to you when I see you (hopefully at fencing practice or something)
