Detention for Kentaro

Crowley found himself the next day in the same place waiting for yet another student to show up for detention. Figuring he might as well be productive in the meantime, he started writing out the homework for the Herbology class. Every once in a while he'd stop to check his very expensive watch and frown.
Herbology Homework

To all Herbology students:
Now you find out what we're doing with your geraniums.
We'll be experimenting with my method of encouraging plants to grow. While it works well for me and Mr. Teatime, it might not work for all of you unless you have the necessary conviction. Therefore, each of you will try a different method of increasing your geranium's potential. Read it poetry, play it opera music, pet it, insult its family, whatever. You will spend ten minutes a day for the next month with your geranium doing your activity and at the end of the month we'll find out what worked the best. When you've decided what your activity will be, list it below.
You also need to keep your plant alive. Geraniums grow best in full sun. They like moist, well-drained soils and prefer a cool root zone. Fertilizers, potions, and magical plant growing methods are not only unnecessary but unacceptable, and rest assured that I will know if you've used them.
Let me know if you have any questions.
-Professor Crowley

UNFORTUNATELY... the Robot Devil will be unable to hold class for a few days, because I'm away. Sorry.

Thank Shai-Hulud for the Febreezio spell, Paul Muad'Dib reflected as he lugged a pile of decrepit fencing gear into the Great Hall. Deodorizing and cleaning charms had gone a long way to make the unfamiliar gear more usable. He was looking forward to using a foil rather than a deadly crysknife, and to fighting a human instead of a practice robot.
He sat beside the heap of gear, lotus-style on the floor, and waited for Holden and River to show up.

Hogwarts was as decent a place as any for a nonmagical, utterly ordinary aardvark. The climate didn't suit him, but Fillerbunny made sure he was kept warm and dry. A recent spill of honey had attracted a wide array of ants, which pleased him immensely. There was a pink bow tied around one of his ears, and every now and then he shook it experimentally.

Charles was in the common room, helping himself to some of the excellent cognac at the open bar, when he first noticed the... activity. Bustle; things being moved about--- it reminded him faintly of the times the 4077th had "bugged out", in the military vernacular. Was there some sort of general moving-day, and he'd missed the announcement? He set aside the cognac and paid attention.
One of those involved was familiar to him--- he might even venture to say, a friend: Dr. Maturin. He hailed the other man as he passed through. "My dear sir! If I may ask... what's going on?" For the moment his only concern was self-interested: he sincerely hoped he wouldn't be required to leave his quarters, or, God forbid, take a roommate.
