Hey everyone!

Remember how we had to form a Quidditch Team last month? That roster might not still be applicable, seeing as certain members seem to have disappeared for various reasons.

Currently, as it stands, our team (reserves included) comprises of:

Seeker: Tom/Nagini.
Chasers: Steerpike, Cthulhu, Trevor.
Beaters: Lucius Malfoy, Severus Snape.
Keeper: Esmeralda Weatherwax/Stewie.

If anyone else is interested in playing, please comment. I think we'll need a Chaser to replace Trevor, who has been MIA for about a month or so by my reckoning.

I also have jetboots, courtesy of Trevor, for all players. Wear them, and if you fall off your broom, you can hover in the air instead of hitting the ground for a potential fatal collision - I'll give them to whomever you elect as Quidditch Captain.

Which brings me to the next issue - of everyone that's signed up to play, who would like to be the Captain? And if you are signing up right now and are interested in being the Quidditch Captain, please state that as well.

"I believe you mean 'Sorry not to disaapoint you.'" She smirked a bit at her own joke, and nodded conspiratorially at him.

"I'll show you mine if you show me yours. There was a gap in the list, and I think I was in that pairing. Tell me who I got stuck with and I'll tell you who you got stuck with. Capish?"

"And here I thought you wanted primo blackmail material on me." Ryuuji joked in return, then grinned, having expected her demand.

"Fine. You go first, though, since I expect that I'm going to have a longer list of potential partners than you do."

Yuffie grinned back. Telling him all the weird pairings was going to be entertaining, at least.

"Ok, you're paired with... Alucard Tepes at 5:1 odds; Sakuya Kira, 6:1; Mai Kujaku, 3:1; Dick Grayson, 2:1; Voldie, 3:1; Oz, 4:1... Huh, it's got you down with Kaiba for only 5:1 odds. I though that one was like 2:1 or somethin'." She scratched her head in confusion.

"Oh well. Ok, now, tell me, who's the love of my life that I never knew before? That hunk, Leonhart, or that bishie Alucard? Ooh, or is it you? cuz if we both can't see it..."

"Dick Gray-" It took a second for Ryuuji to even figure out who that was, too used to simply thinking of his friend as 'Nightwing'. With a laugh, he scoffed at the people who found that a likely possibility, "Grayson's straight. Or claims he is. Voldie's married, Oz is probably straight as well or at least obsessing over his ex-girlfriend. Kira already tried, and Mai's my ex-girlfriend."

As for Yuffie, he smirked and informed her with an amused grin and flourish, "Much as I'm sure you'd prefer myself, Alucard or Squall, it's none of those. Instead, it's the ninjatastic Naruto!"

Yuffie's face turned ash white and her eyes widened.

Horror stricken she cried out. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

*Pan out to a view of a flock of birds scattering over the Forbidden Forest*

Something clicked in Yuffie's head suddenly. "Hey waitaminute, you didn't nix Kaiba there. You saying I should put some money on you two?"

"..." Cracking up for a few seconds, Ryuuji gave her an amused look and defended his ramen-loving compadre. "Naruto's not so bad. Except for the part where he's, what, ten? That's the scary bit."

Apart from that, he blinked and pointed out reasonably enough with a hint of amusement in his words, "I didn't nix Alucard either. I'm not saying you should put money on anyone, just whom you shouldn't put it on."

Idly, Ryuuji wondered what people would say if they knew he was already taken by someone not even on the - impressively long - list.

"Ten? I thought he was at least fourteen. I mean, gawd, I'm a thief, not a cradle robber!"

She sighed and grudgingly replied, "Yeah, good point. So, since you're apparently mister Man-about-town at this school, who do you think I should try and hook up with? I don't know that many people, ya know."

"Fourteen?" Ryuuji blinked, then shrugged again, "Honestly, no clue. I assumed ten, but you could be right instead of me. We can ask him, of course."

"..." Laughing for a moment at getting asked for love advice when they were standing hundreds of feet in the air, Ryuuji considered her question, then asked in return, "Depends - what are you after? A quick fling, a real relationship, a one-night stand, an open relationship... You've got to give me something more to work with. Like an age range."

"Eh, I'm eighteen, but I've got nothing against older guys... Unless they're really old, and then it's just kinda ewww." She scratched her head thoughtfully. "Well, I really don't know. A real relationship would be cool, but I've gotta be free too... Don't wanna be tied down, ya know?"
