So, Ray had been having a good day, and a bad day. First, he'd gotten locked into a room with his partner by a girl who totally had it comin', now.
That's bad.
Then, he figured out he got locked in because someone'd figured out they both had the hotness goin' on for one another. Huh, crazy, right? A bent Mountie? Who woulda thought? Heh. Now all he had goin' on was a Ralph Wiggum voice going 'I bent my Mountie'.
heheh.
Oh, right. That's good.
Then, just as they were about to go for the good stuff, they got out of the secret passage they were stuck in and tumbled, ass-first, into the Gryffindor Common Room, both of them in rather obviously... rumpled clothing.
Uh. That's bad.
Of course, they were closer to a bed now. That's good...
((ETA: The last thread goes NSFW.))

Date: 2007-02-16 01:16 am (UTC)Frustrated - why the bloody hell were there so many secret passageways in this school, anyway? - Lily had considered her options. Going in after them seemed as extreme as it would be pointless. If they were gone, they were gone. So, next choice - wait for them in Gryffindor. They had to come back to their rooms, sometime. And maybe a good talking-to would solve what a sneak attack hadn't.
She had only just entered the common room when...
Oh. Oh.
Yeah, she couldn't help the laughing. She really, really couldn't.

Date: 2007-02-16 02:31 am (UTC)Well, now this was a little complicated, wasn't it? If not for her, he might not just have been stuck in a tunnel in a horribly awkward situation with his best friend. On the other hand, he also might not have been just making out with said best friend. This was a conundrum. He settled for: "I can't believe you would do something like that," in his best chiding tone.

Date: 2007-02-16 03:18 am (UTC)Oh, good grief. He tugged awkwardly at his collar and glared at Lily. "You're taking far too much enjoyment out of this, particularly given how ill-conceived a plan it was."

"Eaten by a staircase?" May prompts. She tosses the book aside - it's a lost cause, really - and hops off the chair nimbly to help one or the other or both up.
Once they've untangled themselves, that is.

Date: 2007-02-16 01:24 am (UTC)He'd been watching the fire in rapt fascination when part of the wall fell open and deposited two men on the ground. Dogen didn't know either of the men, so he was much more interested in the open wall. Maybe that way was someplace familiar....

He wasn't that interested, either, since he was perfectly willing to assume it was A Grownup Thing. Instead, he started poking at the edge of the hole, like he was trying to get it to close up so he could see.

Date: 2007-02-16 05:40 pm (UTC)People suck. "I take it back, Fraser. Your dad is not cool. Your dad is a crazy no good meddling.... meddler." He grumbled and shucked off his jacket, chucking it onto a chair. "We are gonna get Lily and Bobert back. You know that, right?

Date: 2007-02-16 06:41 pm (UTC)Actually, he found himself starting to wonder if this was all too good to be true, if maybe he had been dreaming all along. Maybe the lack of air had made him delirious after all? But then, the bite marks on Ray's neck and the missing buttons on his tunic said differently; as did, for that matter, Ray locking his door, just as naturally as though he still lived there. Fraser stifled an absolutely ridiculous smile and carefully, if quickly, started taking off his uniform. "Yes, Ray," he said placidly.
Diefenbaker, who had been napping on the floor, chose that moment to wake up, alerted by the vibrations on the stone. Spotting Ray, he jumped up with a bark of joy that quickly turned into a whine. Because, on the one hand, Ray was back! And maybe he was staying, and would have donuts!-- Except that Ray and Ben both smelled kind of strange, and he recognized that scent, and the last time he'd smelled it he'd spent the better part of the week locked out of Ben's apartment. Sigh. He whined again, padding over to Ray, nosing hopefully at his leg. Maybe at least a cruller before he got kicked out?
Fraser glanced at Dief, then went to unlock the door. "Diefenbaker?" Dief sighed a doggy sigh. Nevermind. Fraser crouched down and murmured a few words to the wolf in Inuktitut; whatever he'd said, Dief immediately perked up, and bounded happily out the door. Fraser straightened and smiled innocuously at Ray. "I told him to spend the rest of the day with Lily. I think that's a start, don't you?"

Date: 2007-02-16 07:00 pm (UTC)"Start and a half." He grins at Fraser. Dief was a great wolf, a grand pal for sure. But right now? He did not want a grand pal in the room. Boots gone and shoved under the bed, he leaned back and stretched out his legs to peer up at Fraser.
"So we got a whole day? Because I got unfinished business with your pants."

Date: 2007-02-16 07:37 pm (UTC)He pulled the serge off and laid it carefully down on the end of the bed, along with the Sam Brown and the lanyard; for good measure, he shrugged his suspenders off. There.
That settled, he finally let himself look at Ray-- and he was glad he'd waited, for the grin on his face was nearly heartstopping. He took a deep breath, returning it a bit nervously. "I... I should warn you, it's been a while..."
