Dogen was lost. This wasn't unusual for him - even at the best of times, he had difficulty remembering things that weren't Important. He didn't mind being lost, all things considered. Eventually he'd find his way to someplace he knew or someone would herd him there, so it was no problem. It wasn't like he had to worry about a lake monster or Bobby Zilch or sneezing his brain out his nose here.
He'd been watching the fire in rapt fascination when part of the wall fell open and deposited two men on the ground. Dogen didn't know either of the men, so he was much more interested in the open wall. Maybe that way was someplace familiar....
