J.A.I.L.B.A.I.T. Teaparty ::Semi-Screened for Female Chars Under 30::

Madam Rosmerta has cleared away most of the usual tables and booths. There are still a few small tables scattered around the large room, and a cheery fire is crackling in the fireplace. Along one wall are long tables loaded with tea sandwiches, scones, petit fours, candies, biscuits and other rich treats. On the opposite wall there is tea with all the accoutrements, a fountain type punchbowl, and coffee for those who prefer it to tea. Butterbeer is also available on request.

The tables hold bouquets of early spring flowers -- snowdrops, narcissus, and crocus in pink, yellow and white. There are soft yellow, pink, and white ribbons on the candle sconces, as well.

In a back room, the models from Gladrags are bustling around, changing into the various cloaks and robes they will be showing the attendees. They can't be seen, but it is possible to hear their indistinct chatter.

After checking the arrangements with Madam Rosemerta, Ginny stands near the door, nervously waiting for Emma to show up, and worried about whether the party will come off well, and very excited about her friends meeting each other. She's dressed in an aqua green Muggle dress with small yellow flowers, and wearing the new silver snitch necklace Harry gave her.



((While screened for female characters under the age of 30, the Three Broomsticks is a public facility, so it is possible for other characters to crash the party. It'll be a lot easier if they're disguised as a female under thirty, though. *wink*))

"Of course you may. But, dear, you must tell me of this Hideki." She smiles even as her eyes glitter at the thought of gossip. "Is this person a friend of yours?"

"Hideki is Chii's special person just for her!" Chii nearly chirped, as she grinned and held out her hand. "Hideki gave this ring to Chii, a few days ago. Chii really likes the ring, and hopes she can see him soon... Chii should see him tomorrow, in fact."

"Oh, Chii!" Emma Woodhouse grins as she examines the ring. "It is beautiful! I am quite happy for you. But I must ask, what is his profession? Do you like his family? Does he have a good reputation?"

"Hideki is currently trying to get into Tokyo U, in order to go to college... Chii thinks Hideki is going to be a Salaryman, a business man. Chii has not met Hideki's family, but Hideki has met Chii's. Does not like Icchan-papa... But he likes Chitose-mama a lot!" Chii said, her tone going a little quiet as she said that part.

Freya couldn't blame Hideki for not liking Icchan-papa... Not after what he said he did. Than again, she thought to Chii, 'He could be lying... Trying to upset us, so... What happened does happen again.

Chii chose to ignore her sister, and kept talking, "And everyone Chii knows likes Hideki. Hideki is very helpful, and wants to make those around him happy."

"How excellent. I would be delighted to meet such a man. Tell me, Chii, what do you think of the fashions? I think this 'modern' robe is simply dreadful, although I enjoy the green one. Perhaps I shall purchase it."

"Chii rather likes this black-and-pink one..." Chii said, as she held out the robe a little. It was the black robe, with pink flowers aqnd butterflies.

The expression changed on Chii face, a little. "It's not as lacy as I like, but she seems to prefer it." Freya said, "I saw the green one, and I also think it's rahter nice. I think I like the stitched pattern, on the skirt."

"Oh, yes. It is quite lovely."

She then raises a sculpted brow. "Indeed, but it is the bodice of the dress which attracted my attention. Excuse my ignorance, but who precisely is 'she', Chii? It seems that I have lost my place in this conversation."

"Oh... Oh!" Freya said, as she realized, "I guess Chii never told you, did she... I do think we've met once though. I'm Chii's sister, Freya." She paused for a moment, "I know you may think this is odd, but it's not from mental illness or anything wrong," on Chii's part, at least.

"I lost my old body, so Chii... Well, she took what was left of me into her own mind. Now, we share a body." She said, trying to figure out the best way to explain this. Something told her Emma would not take this news well, and she didn't want to cost her sister a friend. "It's... A bit strange to explain, fully."

"No, she did. I was just not aware that you two had just, er..." She makes a twisting motion with her hands. "But I am quite happy to have the opportunity to be better acquainted with you. I must know, have you yet met Mr. Leonhart? I thought he would get along finely with you."

"Fair enough." Freya said, with a slight laugh, "It's not the most expected thing, for most people."

"Mr. Leonhart?" Freya asked, "I can't say that I have. Tell me, what does he look like?"

"I'm afraid I have not seen him since your sorting. But he was a very attractive man, and quiet. He had a steady income, and was quite protective."

A quiet, protective sort of person? He was much different from the sort of men that Freya was interested in... But it would be best to not chase men like Fa-... Mihara-san.

"I would be very interested in meeting with him, if it's alright." Freay said.

"Indeed, but he appears to have left. Perhaps I shall make it my duty to find someone a bit more dependable for you to meet?"

"I shall trust your judgement, when it comes to someone," Freya said, with a slight smile. "Someone dependable will be good."
