J.A.I.L.B.A.I.T. Teaparty ::Semi-Screened for Female Chars Under 30::

Madam Rosmerta has cleared away most of the usual tables and booths. There are still a few small tables scattered around the large room, and a cheery fire is crackling in the fireplace. Along one wall are long tables loaded with tea sandwiches, scones, petit fours, candies, biscuits and other rich treats. On the opposite wall there is tea with all the accoutrements, a fountain type punchbowl, and coffee for those who prefer it to tea. Butterbeer is also available on request.

The tables hold bouquets of early spring flowers -- snowdrops, narcissus, and crocus in pink, yellow and white. There are soft yellow, pink, and white ribbons on the candle sconces, as well.

In a back room, the models from Gladrags are bustling around, changing into the various cloaks and robes they will be showing the attendees. They can't be seen, but it is possible to hear their indistinct chatter.

After checking the arrangements with Madam Rosemerta, Ginny stands near the door, nervously waiting for Emma to show up, and worried about whether the party will come off well, and very excited about her friends meeting each other. She's dressed in an aqua green Muggle dress with small yellow flowers, and wearing the new silver snitch necklace Harry gave her.



((While screened for female characters under the age of 30, the Three Broomsticks is a public facility, so it is possible for other characters to crash the party. It'll be a lot easier if they're disguised as a female under thirty, though. *wink*))

Tonks! I'm so glad you came! We haven't had a proper visit since I got here, and so much has happened since then. *huge grin and a little bit of a dreamy look* Things are great with me.

How about you? And how's Professor Lupin? I haven't seen him around much lately.

I'm so glad you're okay. We were all pretty worried about a while back, but you're right, so much has happened since then. And I'm sure you're happier now that Harry is here too. *wink and a smile*

I'm fine, keeping busy I guess. Lupin's fine too, he went on some sort of sabbatical trip but he should be back soon. I just hope he's not trying to avoid me again.

I'm glad he's come back. I'm sure he missed you bunches. I don't think he'd try avoiding you again, really. From the way he talks about you, I'd say he seems to have finally become willing to let himself be loved. You've done a good job with him. *smiles a little conspiratorily*

Have you been to any classes yet? I've only been to a few, so far. But they've all been fun.

I'm really glad he's back too. I'm glad you think so. Sometimes I wonder.

I've been to herbology and arithmancy so far. Herbology was fun, although Professor Crowley is a bit intimidating sometimes. I've never taken arithmancy before, but it seems a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. How about you? You're in ancient runes, right? What's that like?

He's one of my favorite Professors, but if he ever does anything to make you sad, I'll be glad to put a bat bogey hex on him for you.

I probably should have taken Herbology, too. That Professor Crowley is very intimidating and he called me a tramp. But if he lets people start late, I might to get in on his next class. Arithmancy was loads better than what I thought it would be. I was afraid that since it's Hermione's favorite class it would be, well, sort of dry and boring, you know? So what did you chart say about you?

Oh, Ancient Runes, yes! That's my favorite! You simply must come next time Professor Cthulhu holds a class, Tonks. It's easy and out of doors, which makes it even more fun and you might even get possessed by Him!

I was worried about it being dry and boring too, but so far it's not bad. Not much math even. My chart said that I am "not afraid to recreate myself," which I thought was pretty amusing. How about yours? Was it accurate?

Well, if runes is you're favorite class it must be pretty cool. I'll have to make a point of going to the next one if you think it'd be okay with Professor Cthulhu.

*grinning* I had a bit of trouble with all the numbers in the extra credit, but the first class wasn't bad at all. *laughs* Funny how it was so accurate about you! I suppose it really works, then! My chart said I'm indepedent and that I never doubt my confidence and ability to handle a challenge. But then it also said my destiny's to support someone in a leadership role. I'm not sure if I can tell if it's accurate, though. Do you think it is?

I'm certain it'll be fine with Professor Cthulhu if you come to Ancient Runes class. He's very welcoming to new worshipersstudents. He'll have to calibrate you, of course, but that only takes a few moments, usually, and it's quite painless.

*thinks* Well, you're definitely independent, and I don't think you could possibly doubt your ability to handle a challenge after surviving growing up with all those brothers! As for destiny, I don't really believe in destiny. I think the future is up to us for the most part. *laughs* That's probably why I nearly failed divination.

Calibrate? Um, okay I guess. Sounds a bit strange, but I'm sure it'll make sense in class.

*laughs with her* Yeah, my brothers were quite a challenge. Still are. I would've nearly failed divination, but I just copied all of Ron's various calamities, with a few changes to make them sound more right for girls, you know? You can get almost anything by Trelawney if you make it sound awful enough. *grins*

Oh, yeah. The calibration's not harmful, or anything. It's just so Professor Cthulhu can tell exactly what languages work best for all his students. *genuinely has no idea that she's being brainwashed by a tentacled Ancient God*
