Just to let you all know, I've got some RL "busyness" coming up--- nothing bad, just a big work project and some other stuff that's going to cut down on my time here for at least a few weeks. River and Charles will still be around, but there will be a lot of lag time, and I don't want to hold up the works for anyone else, so if you want to postpone RP'ing with either of them until I can resume regularly scheduled service, I will totally understand and agree (and I may avoid starting or joining new threads, too, just to keep from slowing anyone down)!

OOC announcement: Yes, Dr Maturin is now Potions Master, and he's one of literature's great experimental drug users, so you can expect much wacky research into potions. Already he's found a recipe that enables mpreg, out of his concern for Ryuuji and Nightwing. If you want your character to do something plotwise that some insane potion would help along, feel free to have them pester Maturin, IC or OOC ... he's always up for a challenge, provided it doesn't go against his sense of ethics.

Those interested in taking Potions should sign up here. List your full name -- with the personal name, in Western order, preceding the surname -- as well as your House affiliation.

A staff change has been made following the untimely popcorning of Professor Snape. This class is now led by Dr Maturin as instructor and Ryuuji Otogi as teaching assistant. Be aware that the present instructor does not share the teaching philosophy of the previous instructor. All students are welcome to sign up, regardless of ability or house affiliation, provided they are willing to learn. Those who evince a lack of genuine interest will be asked to leave the course.
