Dragging a trunk full of books on Alchemy behind him, Ed Elric staggered into the Ravenclaw common room. He looked around for a moment, bewildered, before asking aloud, "Hey, does anyone know where the hell my room is? And is it true that Hermione Granger is in this house?"
Okay then, be sure to ask if you need directions. All sorts of students have been getting lost here. Our prefects are out in a meeting, but they should be back soon.
Well, I've got a meeting, but I guess I could be a bit late.
*Hermione levates Ed's suitcases* The common room was redesigned when I was gone so it is a bit different, but basically the same. The staircase for the girl's and boy's dormitories is this way.
Oh, uh, hey, I guess since you're in this house, you'd be able to tell me where the library is. The huge library is pretty much the only reason I'm here, ya know.
It's nothing, really. A basic charm. Our Charms teacher has turned into popcorn, but I'm sure I can teach it to you sometime.
The library's pretty easy to find. The staircases like to move but it generally keeps to the forth floor. If you'd like, I can take you after the dueling club meeting. We're suppose to basic summoning spells today. I know. You can get lost in there for days sometimes

Methos looks up from where he's drapped over an armchair reading some ancient text on Egyptian curses in the original hieroglyphics (wouldn't want to mispronounce anything by relying on translations an d all that) when he sees Ed walk into the room. "Up that stairway to to the left." He raises the glass of beer that was sitting on the table next to him. "Welcome."
Ryuk looks through the bar. "Hey! Where are the apples here? They are just as good as alcohol." He sticks his head through the wall in case of a hidden area with apples in it. He then looks out of the wall at Ed. "Hey. Can you make some more apples? I'm freaking out over here."
Rusalkas are a type of Slavic water nymph, rather similar to veelas, if you're familiar with them. Though rusalkas have a rather a nasty habit of killing their lovers. I can lend you the book if you want to know more.
I see Ms. Sidle has familiarized you with our open bar. I especially recommend the pirate rum - in moderation, of course.
(( Exactly :D In canon he writes this huge tract about how eliminating the grog ration will improve the health of all sailors. And meanwhile, he's addicted to laudanum. ))
*after the Prefect Meeting, Sara returns to Ravenclaw and finds a new student in the commonroom*
Hi there, I'm Sara Sidle, one of the Ravenclaw Prefects. Looks like you've put your bags away, so I guess you've found the dorm rooms. Is there anything I can help you with?
Nice to meet you, Ed. Just let me know if you need anything. Oh, and if you're an alchemist, you should look around the lab and let me know if there's any equipment you need. Most of this is Muggle stuff I ordered, but I think I can get the House Elves to bring you whatever magical supplies or equipment you need, as well.
All right. Just let me know if you need anything, then, after you've looked for your books, and I'll get it for you. *waving across the room* Also, the bar's over there, and it's fully stocked, so help yourself.
