Owl to Group 2 & Herbology Group 2 RP

Hey guys~ I'm waiting in the library so we can work on the project.

Eiko sat waiting in the library, several books on Herbology spread before her. She was waiting for the rest of her group to arrive.

"Crud, guess we have to use the school owls..." ((OOC: Or someone could go ask in the original class RP.))

She leaned in close to Mokuba and whispered to him, trying to keep Todd from hearing. "Hey, maybe we should go buy owls sometime... together."

Whispering in return, Mokuba said, "Yeah, sure. Whenever we both have some free time, and you want to, just let me know." For now, he didn't mind using the school owls.

She wihspered back, "Okay. Do you think we can go by ourselves, or do we need someone older to go with us?"

"I'm unsure," Mokuba whispered, all the while thinking about it. "If we do, I'm sure either Ryuuji or Seto will go with us."

"Oh, good, that'll be fun," she whispered excitedly. She wanted an excuse to get out Miss Woodhouse and Ginny's party without causing offence. She'd have to eat cucumber sandwiches at boring tea parties when she went back to Lindblum for holiday. Though she would still want to do something else with Mokuba before then- the party was at least a week away and she wanted to make sure her outing with Mokuba conflicted with that.

"Of course it will be." Mokuba thought an outing with all four of them would be even better, assuming it was possible with everyone's schedules.

"Saaay... Maybe we could do a little matchmaking with your brother and Ryuuji..." She hoped things had gotten worked out between the two of them. Everybody had been betting on them earlier.

"Ehh...." Mokuba trailed off for a moment. "Oh! That's right. I never did ask Ryuuji why he wasn't interested in my brother. I kept forgetting. But yeah, sure. We can try."

"Ryuuji seems interested. He hits on your brother at like every sorting. Then again... Maybe he's just a tease?" Eiko mulled over this for a moment. Mokuba loved his brother, and by that logic Eiko should care about him too. Maybe Ryuuji was a bad thing for Seto? She'd have to see how they acted together, first.

"I guess.... I don't know. I've not really seen much of that, to be honest," Mokuba said, pouting for a moment. "When did you see this? Maybe I should go to more sortings."

Oh, Mokuba loved Seto so much.... He would do just about anything for his brother, but a brother wasn't a lover. Hence his high concern. Seto never showed concern in people that way before, until now.

"Well... Like right now in Vincent's sorting... I bet they try to keep it quiet around you. But.. I dunno, maybe it just looks like flirting."

She leaned in closer. "I mean, Ryuuji asked your brother to go back to his room to sleep. That's kinda... suggestive, you know."

Mokuba blushed a bit and tried not to giggle. He remembered how he had teased Ryuuji about that from the start. "Yeah...but 'nii-sama just sleeps in that room with Ryuuji, that's all. They share the room. They're not actually doing anything. Ryuuji assured me of it. And if they were together, I don't think 'nii-sama would be so...well, hollow. He's been really empty-like lately. Numb.... That's the only way I can tell he's not really happy sometimes. He doesn't like getting depressed, so he just gets very short in what he says, does a lot of work, and seems emotionless."

Eiko didn't know whether Ryuuji had been telling Mokuba the truth, but she didn't want to imply anything that may not be true. She was liking Ryuuji less by the second.

"It sounds like Ryuuji's the bad guy here... He really needs to come clean with Seto instead of leading him like this."

"Huh?" Mokuba blinked and realized he needed to calm things, quickly. "'nii-chan's not a bad guy. I don't see how he's leading 'nii-sama yet. I mean, it would be nice if they got together, but I guess if Ryuuji doesn't have feelings for 'nii-sama.... We can't force them.... That doesn't mean we can't, you know...." Mokuba winked at her. "Fix things up a bit and manipulate the situation."

"Well, he's not bad. Just... Maybe he's confused too. But yeah, we should try and help! First, we need to get them together. We can do that on our trip. But what can we do after that?"

"I'm not really sure. Knowing why Ryuuji isn't interested in 'nii-sama would probably help. Then we could fix those things," Mokuba considered.

She nodded sagely. "Yeah. You know him best, so you'd have the best luck getting the truth outta him. He's in one of the Sortings right now... You could run and go bug him."

((Does Mokuba know about the Tom thing, or is that uber-secret?))

"Yeah, I could...but we need to do this work, Eiko. I'll bug him after we get this project completed. And Professor Crowley owled me back and said we could get a potato from the kitchens! So yay! That's one thing out of the way. We just need to ask a House Elf to get us one, then write up the brief description." He grins.

[[ No, he doesn't know. And I would have him bug Ryuuji about it, but the mun is kinda swamped at the moment, so I don't want to add this to her list just yet. ]]

"Oh, yeah, the assignment! We better get to work. It can't be too hard to write about potatoes. I think Professor Crowley gave us an easy assignment because of our age." She frowned slightly. "That's not really fair, since you're really smart, you know."

Mokuba gave a sheepish grin. "Well, maybe it's not fair, but I think it's kinda nice of him, actually. He grouped all of the younger people together so we don't get put in a group of older kids and just ignored because of our age. Or to sure we pull our own weight, as opposed to let the others do everything for us because we're just kids. I don't think the other ones were that hard, to be honest. Besides, he wasn't asking for much to be written, thankfully."

So...between the three of us we need to decide who does the write up and who presents. I'm willing to do either or. And someone can have a House Elf fetch the potato. ]]
