Unable to wait any longer now that everyone had agreed to go flying with him, Adam sent owls to Nny, Susan, River, Kaylee, Teatime, Harry, Ginny, and Devi to let them know that he'd gone down to the Quidditch pitch and to meet him there. He snatched his broom and practically ran down to the field, excited to meet new people and get into the air once again.

That sounds like fun! Except... I told Ginny I'd introduce her to my friend Kaylee, who's here. Have you met her? She and I were on Serenity together. Now she's in Hufflepuff.

Okay. The Snitch is... *starts looking through everyone's minds as well as looking with her eyes* *hopes for one of the random flashes of clairvoyance she sometimes gets, but no joy* *still manages to track it down* There! *points, and then banks, hard, toward the Snitch*

((OOC: Hmmmm... how should we handle the Snitch? It almost needs to be an independent player in its own right to get the right element of, ah, independence! ;) Or has this been worked out in another thread? ))

((OOC: I think we can just use the comm's dice roll account per the instructions here. (http://community.livejournal.com/hogwarts_hocus/38629.html) We required three rolls for the Prefect run offs and Head of House mud wrestling, but I think in this case one roll will do it, with numbered rolled equalling number of minutes it takes you to catch it, then you can make up what maneuvers it took you to get there.))

((OOC: *smacks forehead* I knew about that, really I did. Okay.... here (http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?page=3&t=11767431#670124807) we are. And given that timespan, I'm inclined to have her do other things while she's at it--- it takes her an hour at least in part because she's stopping to chat with people and stuff, as she zips by in pursuit if the Snitch.))

*River swoops after the Snitch, trying to get her fingers around it and wondering if she dardes to stand up while moving at such a speed, and what that would do to the broom control*

You're on then! Hmmm, now, do we want to state what we're staking before hand? *thinking a little about her discussion with River minutes ago* I think she'll have it pretty quickly, assuming it's around here somewhere. So, 20 minutes or less for me.

((OOC: Isn't it though? I went icon hunting (in hg_icons and gw_fans and found bunches of fabulous ones of both Harry and Ginny - mostly by sunlitdays. She has some of the best Harry icons I've ever seen available in her personal journal. This one's by glitterbubbles, though.))
