The making of chili had been highly successful. With River and A working together, they'd made nearly enough to feed the whole school. Thankfully, the kitchen had some pretty huge pots.
And now they were in the great hall, River on one side of the pot and A on the other, each armed with an apron, a ladel, and a spoon. Next to the pot were containers holding sour cream and various types of cheese and cut up chives, for garnish. A sign at the door read 'Free chili! Come and enjoy!'

Way off.
So off it might end up hitting someone's ankle.

Date: 2009-02-09 01:58 am (UTC)"There you are!" Much to her dismay, Brice came up behind Twoey and kneeled beside her to tug lightly at her ears as punishment for running off. "Don't scare me like that."
He looked up. Oh, hello. Smelled nice. The guy was vaguely familiar (http://community.livejournal.com/hogwarts_hocus/1620821.html?thread=85356629#t85356629) too. The name was pretty easy to remember, though, he was one of those people who just had one letter... Weren't there a whole bunch of them?
"That looks good," he commented. "Could I have some?" Twoey arfed eagerly, and Brice rolled his eyes. "And a small bowl for the dog, please. Really small. Think thimble."
