Karaoke Party!

The appointed hour had come, and the Great Hall was set up for a karaoke party, just like Ryuuji had promised. There were tables with snacks and drinks, chairs set up next to them to let people sit down, a stage with a karaoke machine and their host for the evening was currently standing up there, waving cheerfully at the people starting to come in.

"Hey, everyone! Thanks for showing up. I hope you all have a good night -- remember, duets are the most awesome thing ever -- and enjoy the performances! I'm kick-starting the night with a song from Voltaire that's dedicated to the old reputation of Slytherin, and then I'll hand the mike over to anyone that wants to show off."

Without any further ado, he launched into a self-mocking rendition of When You're Evil.

Jack never missing a trick to show off, has to sing. "Because this has to be dedicated to my JD." Jack had that miscevious grin before he started singing
I Touch Myself (http://download.yousendit.com/817B332D6B7DE4B7) and there was dancing, well it was interesting. Really it was a very good sentiment to... no there really was no way explaining this apart from it was so very Jack and he'd dedicated it to JD who he was grinning at all the time he was dancing... again loosest sense of the term. When he finished he headed over to JD.

JD stood there in the audience, not sure whether to grin or die of embarrassment. Blushing furiously, he smiled sheepishly to Jack as he approached. "Very... Physical." he said quietly to him, smiling broader this time.

Jack was still on a high from being an attention whore all that singing and dancing. "Think so?" He grinned. "You think the dancing was that good?"

JD conciously stepped to the side to let Jack block the faces of most people staring at them as he blushed a bit more. "It was inventive, I didn't know that-, well." he smiled a little. "I think that you break physics or something."

"I'm just that good!" Jack looked smug a moment before reaching for JD's hands to pull him into a hug. "You gonna sing then?"

JD hugged into him, laughing. "After last time? I thought I was banned from the mic." he said with a grin.

"For me." Jack gave his best puppy dog eyes at JD. "Please."

"Fine." JD said, laughing. "I'll go up in a minute once it's free."

"Good." Jack gave him a kiss, he didn't care if people were around or even looking. "I'll be cheering. Or I could dance!" That last was more a threat possibly...

"Cheer." JD said decisively, laughing and kissing him back.

"Fine." He sulked, then looked worryingly happy again! "I'll be loudest and right at the front." Again more a threat.

JD grinned and blushed some more. "You do that." he said, stealing another kiss.

Jack took that as an opportunity to shoo JD in the right direction to sing.
