Mungojerrie was positive that this was wrong. It was likely to backfire in his face. Yet, he felt a need to do it any way.
It's a good thing he's had some practise with the typewriter.
Bombalurina,
welcome I heard you were sorted. need a tour of the place? pretty big and i can show you the best place of all
kitchens!
how about it?

He led her down the hall way to the painting of the bowl of fruit. Mungojerrie loved this part. It was so much easier now that he was human. He glanced at Bombalurina. Might as well give her the honor.
"Just tickle the pear and we're in."

Date: 2006-11-20 09:31 pm (UTC)Technically it wasn't a lie. Bombalurina rarely bragged about her conquests.
Unless they were really effing spectacular, like for an example Tugger...But her conquests did tend to brag about her, so yes...She quirked an eyebrow. "If you try to fool me, darling, I will be very cross with you."
Nevertheless she tickled the pear, and it giggled (and perhaps blushed a little) before revealing the door. Bombalurina's other eyebrow went up as well. She was impressed.
"Cute trick," she commented, looking over her shoulder at Mungojerrie.

Date: 2006-11-20 09:48 pm (UTC)The pear tickled on cue and the gateway to Heaven was opened! Mungojerrie felt like a little kitten on Christmas. He could hardly contain himself and bounced right into the kitchens.
"If you'd like to call it that," He said, already sorting through the food. Mungojerried kicked aside a badgerring house elf before remembering. "Oh! Do you want anything?"

Rather interesting, really. But she wasn't as excited about it as he was, because it was, well, food. Hardly Bombalurina's passion in life. Though there was a lot of innuendo to be made surrounding food, of course, not to mention the things one could do with whipped cream...
Right. Focus. She tapped a finger against her bottom lip thoughtfully.
"Perhaps. Anything you'd recommend especially?"

Date: 2006-11-20 10:08 pm (UTC)"You!" A house elf carrying a huge tray of cookies was stopped in its tracks by Mungojerrie's threatening pointed finger. "Two mugs of hot chocolate aaa~nd...ah-ha! Three of those cookies, alright?" The house elf nodded and scurried off.
He leaned against the wall afterwards and feeling full of himself, Mungojerrie smiled at the red queen. "Just a minute."
True to his word, the house elf appeared out of nowhere a minute (and five seconds) later with dessert.
Suave.

She delicately balanced her cup of hot chocolate, and sniffed it. Hm. Not bad... Her tongue darted out and licked at the beverage. Hot! But good. So very good. Like so many women before her, Bombalurina had just discovered the good things about chocolate.
"How you spoil me," she purred to Mungojerrie, just to say something.
