Jack was on his way to the owlery more to check if the number of owls was holding up and also possibly to see if there were any spare pigeons up there for a certain new addition to the ever growing number of things that lived in the room he and JD shared that was currently living in the wardrobe. Only another week before he could finally let JD know what was in there. That then moved on to what else he should get JD for a present and even what JD was going to get him, this was even if he did get something or remembered. It was quite odd how he was involved in thinking all this. Why was he going to the owlery again, that was it. Pigeons.

JD grinned and kissed his forehead. "Yeah, next week we can brave the wardrobe." he paused and glanced back. "I don't know what's all in there. I just kinda shoved most of my extra stuff in there. I swear, with that stuff, I think that there'll probably be something alive in there."

"Yes, and we can call it Bob..." Jack laughed quietly. "So it should be a special weekend then..." Hinting at something?

JD chewed his lip nervously. Did Lily let slip? "Yeah, should be nice. I have the weekend off apparently..."

"Well it is the weekend before Halloween." Jack knew more than well JD was up to something, by what he was doing. Worrying him like that was just fun but he changed the subject. "I'm guessing they'll be a party, we'll need costumes."

JD suddenly caught on and grinned. "Of course! I forgot there. What do you think that you're going to go as?"

"A bunny..." Jack tried to look innocent when he spoke. "You?"

JD laughed. "With the adorable ears and tail?" he asked, then looked thoughtful. "Hmmm, maybe a Werewolf?"

"But very little else on..." Jack smirked. "Actually get that, keep that aside. I'll find someting else to wear for Halloween." Jack put his head to one side. "You'd make an adorable werewolf, maybe I could go as a vampire..."

JD laughed, then grinned at the thought of Jack in a rabbit outfit. "Rwar." he said, jokingly, pushing Jack playfully. "You'd be a really hot vampire." he said, smiling.

Jack looked happier and to get JD back and help prove the point of how good a vampire he could be, tried to bite JD's neck.

JD laughed and tried to claw jokingly at Jack's chest, rollong into him as he did so.

Cue one slightly disgruntled woken up Key that Jack had forgotten about.

Jack laughed and went for JD again, laughing.

Key growled.

Jack looked over his shoulder. "Er..."

JD laughed too and tried to grapple with Jack in the tight space before Key woke up. "Oops, sorry Key!" he whispered, then grinned sheepishly at Jack.

"Relax you." Jack looked over his shoulder. "But you..." Jack pushed JD out from under the bed.

JD rolled out, laughing, then reached back to grab Jack.

"You know, I don't exactly like this kind of treatment." Partly being dragged, partly willingly coming out from underneath the bed.

JD leant over and kissed him fiercely, then rolled away again. "Better?" he asked, grinning.

"Hmm, no." Jack made to pounce JD as he'd moved away. He pounced and tried to pin JD down by lying across him. Looking over his shoulder up to JD he smirked. "This is."

JD laughed and tried half-heartedly to push Jack off him. "I'm going to get you back for this." he said pleasantly, grinning.

Jack put up a fight, or rather settled down so he was lying more comfortably across JD head on his chest. "Yeah you will, when I let you." Jack laughed. "You might want a pillow from the bed. I've got one."

"We're sleeping on the floor?" JD asked, grinning. "Key will have a field day."

"Unless you're gonna make me move, which in your current situation I highly doubt." Dramatic pause for effect. "Yeah we are. Let her have the bed for now."

JD grinned and wiggled his wand from his pocket. "Accia." he muttered. The pillow hovered for a few seconds high above the bed before turning purple and exploding in a cloud of brightly coloured feathers. "...Oops."

"You killed it!" Jack laughed as he blew a feather that was floating down past him. "Look at this mess..." Jack sat up a bit and poked JD. "You made."

JD used the space to lift up an arm and grab Jack playfully. "What can I say? Back home they called me the pillow-slayer." he grinned.
