((Well...we assumed Anya and Emily put them up by hand because they don't know enough magic yet to make them appear. But maybe the 'most glamorous yet tasteful one' visited one of the bathrooms with the sign to admire her perfect hair? ;D Anya won't be too happy about seeing Glory's name on the list, but Anya-mun thinks it will be fun!))
I'm not sure if I want to join - I'm not even sure if I really died - but I'd like to know when the first meeting is so I can decide when the time comes?
You can make me spookier than I already am? Maybe he has a black turtle!? I knew you understood me when I first laid my eyes on you. Look at my eyes, my contact lenses makes my iris black. I am so cool.
You know, you can really get that deep, shadowed look by DIGGING YOUR WORTHLESS EYEBALLS OUT OF THEIR SOCKETS. Put out that fucking clove on them first.
Have you tried it? Wow, your pain is so real. I totally empathize with you. You are so cool! I love your hair, and the skinny look works for you. Don't you just hate fat people. Pain is all I know, and you cause pain. We should hang.
Oh no! You are so right. It is a learning experience, taking me further away from this uncaring society and leaving me in the solitude of my own dark knowledge. I'm so glad you understand! Yes! Let's fucking curse at the world. SLINGS AND ARROWS WORLD OF SHALLOW BITCHES.
*Flips out handy black notebook with totally awesome band stickers on the front and reads out loud as she writes* Dear Diary
Today I learnt something interesting, and something good. I am not alone in my suffering and I have made a very cool friend who totally understands me. He is cool and skinny and has blue hair. A bit of eyeliner here and there and he would be a total scene king. I bet on myspace he would have lots of picture comments and everyone would want his hair. He is cool. I wonder if he smokes cloves too, I should offer him one. *offers one* Anyway, in my sharing of the dark hell that was my day I was told to thank every star in the sky for being ignorant. Thank you stars for being ignorant. I do not understand this, as I wish the stars would stop being so ignorant and shine a little light into my life and light up the dark pit of darkness. A little less light in the Sparklypoo common room would be nice though. The stars are so stupid and do not understand me, not even where to shine their light properly. Nny is right, they are ignorant. Did I mention how cool he was?
You so understand my solitude. You're right, I should dwell in my own loneliness. I just don't want to back to hell... The pain there is like nothing on earth. It's warm and fluffy. GOD IT BURNS!
Dear Miss... do pardon me, I do not believe I got your name,
Unfortunately this club is for the departed, so unless you have actually died I do not believe you would qualify. If I may be so bold and make a suggestion, you could perhaps start a club of your own, for the girls that are still amongst the living?
Yours sincerely, Miss Emily Bonham, Hufflepuff and Co-Founder of the Dead Girls Club.
They wouldn't understand me, just like you don't. My heart is cold and empty and I am in a wave of backwards and forwards trauma of the unknown of where I fit in. I am not dead, nor am I alive in the way most people are. God, I really am spooky!
As the founders of the club are both female, it came naturally for us to make the club solely for females. We thought that it might make it easier for the ladies to open up and be themselves, and discuss their deaths without fear. There is however nothing saying that you could not start a Dead Boys Club. I personally encourage it.
Sincerely, Miss Emily Bonham, Hufflepuff and Co-Founder of the Dead Girls Club.
All deaths are unique, as every person is unique. If any of the dead girls should feel that her death was particularly traumatic, then the club would offer help and perhaps make her feel that she at least is not alone. I am not saying that dead boys would not feel the same about their demise as dead girls, yet I must insist that the DGC remain for girls only. I feel that it would be more appropriate.
Sincerely, Miss Emily Bonham, Hufflepuff and Co-Founder of the Dead Girls Club.
It's still interesting that you specify that the dead girls here should not feel alone yet don't worry for the boys. Especially because I know two other boys who have died and I think they both had feelings of being alone. In fact, if you owl JD, he might tell you about the girl who I believe left him very alone right before his death.
What are you worried about for the girls and not for the boys? "Appropriate," you say... Do you plan on discussing sex? The menstrual cycle? Is that the problem?
There is a large ink blot on the parchment. Emily is not used to discuss these kind of things.
Mr. Kiriyama,
It is not my place to worry about the boys. When I got here I was informed that there were many dead girls at Hogwarts, and the idea of starting a club for them where we could compare experiences was born. I remembered how I felt when I first found out that I had died, so I can relate to these girls more than I assume I would to dead boys.
As for... that other thing, typically female matters might arise, yes. Also the fact that many girls at Hogwarts, myself included, were murdered by men, plays a vital part in this. There are and always will be some things that girls enjoy to discuss in the absence of men.
Sincerely, Miss Emily Bonham, Hufflepuff and Co-Founder of the Dead Girls Club.
Hm. Perhaps you're right, since I find it hard to understand.
In case she doesn't sign up herself, you might want to send an owl to Mitsuko Sohma. She was murdered by a man and she might need someone to talk to about it.
