QUIDDITCH!

This Saturday there will be a Gryffindor versus Slytherin Quidditch Match. Quidditch captains, please ensure that you have an entire team and that none of your players are popcorn, as popcorn cannot ride a broom effectively.

Remember a Quidditch team is made up of:
one keeper
three chasers
two beaters
one seeker

If you have any problems or questions regarding Quidditch, please let me know by writing on this poster.

((OOC: here's how it works (this is liberally stolen from Adam, the most darling anti-christ around....btw) If you are on a competing quidditch team (but not the seeker) go to the Gaia dice rolling place, roll a six sided dice 3 times. Each time is a play. If it comes up 1 or 2 then Team 1 gets a goal and 10 points. If it comes up 3 or 4 then Team 2 gets a goal and 10 points. And if it comes up 5 or 6, then the goal was blocked.

Then Mr B will roll a final time to see who catches the Snitch. 1, 2, or 3 for Team 1 and 4, 5, or 6 for Team 2. So it wouldn't necessarily be the team that caught the Snitch that won the game if they were lucky enough in their rolls. It'd be unlikely but it is in regular Quidditch too, it seems.

Mr Dimitri the lizard will be comentating throughout.

The quidditch game thread will go up in about 20 hours, give or take, but the RP can go on as long as it needs to.))

((I figure we can have everyone make their rolls in the thread, OOC and they can describe how it happens if they want to, and you can describe it in whatever way you like...then it's closer to how it works in the books with Lee Jordan's biased commentary and everything.

Does that make sense?))
