A veritable cornucopia of owls
Kira ~
Anytime your bed is feeling a bit empty, you know where to find me. I even have my own pillow. (And I don't hog the covers.)
~ Goodfellow
(With the owl is a pillow.)
---
Eddie ~
I've been sorted into Ravenclaw. Anytime you'd like to get that drink, it would be my pleasure.
~ R. Goodfellow
---
My good Doctor and my dear Jack,
Enjoy.
~ R. Goodfellow
(With the owl is a basket, containing an ancient bottle of ambrosia, several candles, a pair of handcuffs, a container of chocolate covered strawberries, a riding crop, and a collection of Glenn Miller's greatest hits.)
---
My prince,
I've been sorted into Ravenclaw. I look forward to many more dances with you in the future. You know where to find me.
~ R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a single red rose.)
---
My Warrior Princess,
I've been sorted into Ravenclaw, and I thank you. I trust that we will see eachother again.
Until then, I am you servent,
Robin Goodfellow.
(The owl is also carrying a box of assorted candy and a very old silver crown.)
---
(The letter is written in flawless Japanese)
Gogo-san,
Thank you for your kind vote. I do hope that, should I ever be able to be of service to you, you will not hesitate to call on me.
Respectfully,
Robin Goodfellow.
(The owl is also carrying a manriki.)
---
Oz,
In Ravenclaw. Drinks?
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a pair of leather trousers, in Oz's size.)
---
Professor,
I have had the excedingly good fortune to be sorted into your house. I hope, at some point, we can meet up for that drink. Until then, here's a bottle of my personal stock. Enjoy!
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a perfectly aged bottle of Scotch.)
---
Captian,
I've been sorted into Ravenclaw. I look forward to a chance to talk further with you. Until then, here's a bit of the seas for you.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a ship in a bottle.)
---
My good Doctor,
I've been sorted into Ravenclaw. Anytime you'd like a drink or a nice conversation, just drop me a line.
Oh, and I met a...being by the name of Illyria. She said that you, as her guide, had been neglectful. Wanted me to pass the message along. I'd wager it's an interesting story how you got mixed up with something as old and powerful as this Illyria. We can swap tales of indenturement to gods later.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying these marbles.)
---
My lovely Rose,
I trust that your situation has been sorted out and you have returned to your more familiar form. I would love to continue our chat sometime. I've been sorted into Ravenclaw - if ever you feel the need for a drink or conversation, please think of me.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a basket containing crackers, feta cheese, and a bottle of white wine.)
---
Legolas,
I trust, my good Elf, you have returned to your former, smooth shaven condition? Or shall my services as a barber be needed?
R. Goodfellow
(Written in much smaller text at the bottom of the page)
Until my magic skills are such that I can protect these owls from unwanted eyes, I think what I have to say should be said in person. I've been sorted into Ravenclaw. Let me know when you have a moment to spare.
---
Methos
Your bed or mine?
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a bottle of flavored lube.)
---
Utena
I've been sorted into Ravenclaw - whenever you'd like to continue our conversation, I'd be happy to see if I could be of assitance.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a toy car.)
---
Laura
Thank you for your vote, my dear. I have been sorted into Ravenclaw, and shall alert you the moment I find out any information on this BOB.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a bouquet of daisies.)
---
Sara
I've been sorted into Ravenclaw. Whenever you like, I'd love to have a drink with you. And the sauna looks extremely tempting, as well.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a bottle of Cristall vodka.)
---
My Lady Malfoy,
Having been recently sorted into Ravenclaw, I have signed up for your next Charms class and eagerly await the opportunity to sit under your tutalage.
Yours,
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying an antique silver hairbrush set)
--
My Pet,
Again, I can only say how breathtakingly amazing you are. You are a force of nature, my dear. I hope to meet you again.
Until then, I am yours.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a beautifully embroidered silk robe)
---
DEATH,
Anytime you'd like to have that cup of tea, I'd be more than happy to join you.
R. Goodfellow
---
My dear
If there is anything I can help you with, I beg you to ask it of me. Perhaps, even if I don't know the answer, I can find another source of information for you.
I am at your service.
R. Goodfellow
---
Dawn
I have been sorted into Ravenclaw. If there is anything I can do to help you in your studies, I beg of you to let me know.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying an ancient parchment, written in Sanskrit. The parchment contains the local legend of a certain trickster.)
---
Sir Dragon,
Here is the bauble you requested. I am working on the rest.
Respectfully,
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a breastplate of gold and silver, inlayed with emeralds.)
---
Herr Liebkind
I look forward to your auditions with delight. Until that time, please enjoy my humble gifts so that you may write more beautiful music.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a large stack of blank sheet music paper.)
---
Illyria
I have been sorted into Ravenclaw. I also dropped a note to the Doctor, per your request. If I can be of further assistance, I stand ready.
Robin Goodfellow
---
My dear Hat,
I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to be Hogwarts' newest Ravenclaw. Please, enjoy the flan, and if I can be of any further service to you, do not hesitate to call on me.
R. Goodfellow
(The owl is also carrying a flan.)

I'm a bit busy with classes right now, but never too busy for a drink. I'll send you an owl when I have an opening, should be soon!
Thanks,
Eddie

Your ego is still a bit sore, isn't it?
Find me and will talk. Maybe I'll give you a chance to convince me.
-Methos

My ego is not the thing that will be sore, you impudent young pup.
I'm in Ravenclaw, examining the liquor supply. I'm sure you can find me. Believe me, my good man, it will be well worth your effort.

But what to address him as... Mr Goodfellow was too formal. Avoiding it completely - she finally decided - was the best option.
I'm glad I satisfied you! Let me assure you, that that was one of the best fucking experiences I've had in a long time. I really do hope to run into at some point soon, too. The robe is fucking beautiful, really. I can't wait to put it on.
Domino.
Return owl
I'm glad you approve of the robe, though I must admit, I'm afraid it will pale in comparison to you.
Anytime you'd like to show it off, however, I'd be more than happy to volunteer.

Wonderful. Perhaps you could also show me where to find the Dining Hall? Food is something that I'm sure I'll need eventually. Unless, of course, magic has a way around starvation?

Hi, it's JD here! Thanks a lot for the basket! Severa items were unexpected,
what the hell, a ridibut I'm sure that I can find a use for them. If you ever need a hand, or want a drink or something, just give me an owl. Thanks once again!-JD.
no subject
Thanks are not necessary. I'm sure you will find many interesting uses for the items in your basket. Your friend Jack was especially wanting the riding crop. Nothing like a good riding crop, when wielded by a gentle touch...
But I digress. I would thoroughly enjoy a drink at some point! Perhaps you and Jack could join me - I will owl you when I've gotten settled.
R. Goodfellow

*a little brown owl brings a reply*
Thank you for your sweet gift! I'm back human, yay, but munchy things are always appreciated!
I would love to talk to you again soon. I'm sorry I was a bit...touchy, before. Nothing like being not-human to make one sort-of defensive about being human, if that makes sense.
Sincerely,
Rose
*a line of sketched flowers edges the bottom of the parchment*
The brown owl brings Rose back a reply
The gift 'twas no trouble at all. I'm sincerely glad to hear you have returned to form.
And you weren't touchy at all, my dear. You make complete sense - I once was a bit touchy around non-Pucks, myself. It is the tendency of species to feel more comfortable around themselves. You hold up gracefully in a world that surrounds you with the strange and unfamiliar, dear Rose. Truly extraordinary.
Anytime you'd like a bit of company, don't hesitate to call on me. And please, call me Robin.
R. Goodfellow.
Return Owl
The bubbles are gone now, turns out I just needed to drink some water. Just so you know, it's probably a good idea to avoid food just sort of left out for anyone to grab around here.
Thanks for the offer. Figured the whole thing was a useless effort, but thanks for letting me down gently. You ever want someone to get blind, stinking drunk with, let me know.
-Chiana
Re: Return Owl
Believe me, I am always looking for someone to get blind, stinking drunk with. So few people appreciate a good pint anymore.
I shall keep you in mind, my dear. Expect an owl.
R. Goodfellow

Thank you very much for the spare manriki. What sort of services are you offering?
Love,
Gogo x
Return Owl
You are most welcome. One can never have too many weapons, and you seem the type to appreciate fine craftsmanship.
I offer whatever services would be most agreeable to you, of course. Through my life, I have had the opportunity to learn many interesting skills. If ever you need any favors of any kind, I beg you to keep me in mind.
R. Goodfellow

Thank you very much for the ship in the bottle - a most kind gesture, I must say.
The rigging and sails are wholly inaccurate, but what can you expect in this day and age?My dear friend Dr Stephen Maturin is also in Ravenclaw; I do hope you enjoy his company.I wish you joy of your Sorting.
Sincerely,
Captain Jack Aubrey
Return owl
I look forward to meeting the good Doctor, as any friend of yours must be good company, indeed.
Perhaps I will see you around the bar, sometime, then.
R. Goodfellow
no subject
I appreciate the gift, though sending booze to a Ravenclaw is rather like sending coals to Newcastle. (Or "carrying owls to Athens," as the Germans say.) I'm sure we'll run into each other at the bar at some point, and then I can introduce you to the wonders of Ol' Janx Spirit.
If you have any questions or problems regarding your new House, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Professor R.J. Lupin
Head of Ravenclaw House
no subject
So I've discovered. Athena did enjoy her birds, however. (Both those with feathers and those lacking, let me assure you.) So I hope you find some use for the Scotch. This Ol' Janx Spirit sounds intriguing - I look forward to the introduction.
Everyone has been extremely accommodating thus far, but I'll keep your offer of assistance in mind.
R. Goodfellow

Thank you for the daisies, they're lovely. And I truly cannot thank you enough for agreeing to investigate the inhabitants of the Black Lodge.
It should go without saying, but doesn't seem like I should leave it to chance, that you should exercise caution when making inquiries about the Black Lodge. I believe many of its inhabitants are peaceful, but BOB is not, and I believe he is at large in this world. He is capable of possessing a human body, and I've yet to find a way to tell when someone is under his control.
You'll rely on your own judgment, of course, but please don't take unnecessary chances. My failure to stop BOB once has already placed enough senseless deaths on my conscience, including but not limited to my own; I beg you not to let him add you to the list.
That being said, you've given me more hope of one day resolving my issues with BOB than anyone ever has. I know you're doing this as a Sorting bribe, but I'm still deeply in your debt. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Laura Palmer

Thank you for your concern, my dear. I assure you, I am taking every precaution. My contacts have not yet responded, but I will notify you directly the moment I have word.

Congratulations! Welcome to Hogwarts and all that.
My new friend Domino gave me kind of a lead, but it doesn't seem to be getting very far, so it'd be great if you could help me out.

THANK YOU!!!!! You're probably not used to people getting so excited about Sanskrit, but it forms the bare bones of so many modern languages, and plus, I have two prophecies that are translations of translations but were originally written in Sanskrit, so I'm really looking forward to learning more. Will you help me translate this?
Dawn

You are most welcome. As I said, it's a rare thing indeed to find any sort of enthusiasm for lost languages.
Whenever you have a moment, I'd be happy to lend you some assistance in translating.

Thank you again for your kind offer, but you needn't be bothered. All is well now, to my everlasting relief - not that I question your skill, you understand.
Shall I meet you outside Ravenclaw tomorrow evening, or would another time better suit you?
Legolas
(Scrawled at the bottom of the parchment are instructions for doing a very basic but efficient ward, and a list of several useful textbooks on the subject. Clearly a certain elf enjoys the library.)
((I may not be around much the next few days, so if you wouldn't mind, could we hold off threading until I'm able to be online longer?))
Return owl, warded
I must say that I'm a little disappointed, but extend my congratulations at your return to your true form.
Tomorrow evening would be wonderful. Let me know when to expect you.
R. Goodfellow
((OOC: That's totally fine! Just bump this thread whenever you have time and I'll start an RP for them! XD))
