That's disappointing about Xander. I really wanted to see him. Hey, what's to do for fun around here? So far, the evening activities in Ravenclaw seem to be drinking, arguing increasingly-incoherent philosophy, and shagging on the couch (which I will never, ever sit on). It's not my scene.
Not to cast aspersions (can *so* use ten-dollar words!) on anybody else's lifestyle choices, but no, I don't think dividing your time evenly between having hangovers and working on new ones is the height of human existence. Any ideas on alternate activities?
I am suitably impressed. Usually people spend their time going to sortings, listening or volunteering for WART, planning events... anything except going to class.
Hogsmeade is a wizarding village, I've spent a few nights there for the full moon. Nice benches. There's also a pub called the Three Broomsticks (like the Bronze with less cackling), amongst other shops. Less vampires than Sunnydale, but more of the other kinds of creatures. At least these ones ask politely.
Oh, does she? So, what highly inappropriate person do you think she'll hook up with and start yelling at over the airwaves?
I've never heard of that character, though. Think it's from the future? Or am I just not that up on old Julia Roberts movies? How old does she look? Well, that's kind of hard to say, with movie actresses, isn't it? Whatever.
I think it's from the future, unless Kay moonlights as a hooker with a heart of gold. Don't know how old she looks, it was hard to see anything except the long, long row of teeth.
Owl to Oz

Other than that, doing fine. I think I'll like Ravenclaw, and I've already met some really nice people.
Have you seen Xander at all? I sent an owl, but he hasn't replied. Is he popcorn?

Not popcorn, just not here. I don't think he's in trouble, though.

Re: Owl to Oz
Date: 2006-06-05 07:20 pm (UTC)Well, yeah, and also keeping an eye on the million building dramas around here, but the Ravenclaw commons are . . . interesting.
Would it be anything other than futile of me to ask you about Hogsmeade?

Re: Owl to Oz
