Open rp to anyone in Ravenclaw

Magic really was amazing. Lucas wasn't so much impressed that the owl had carried his message, but that it had delivered it to someone in the year 2021. Even more incredible still, the owl had returned with a message and a small black box. Lucas set the box on a table in the Ravenclaw common room as he read the message from his friend, Lieutenant Krieg.



What's up with the bird? We put in for shore leave in Saipan and I get hit in the head by the owl of doom. You private school kids have got some odd practical jokes. Anyway, surprisingly enough, people actually miss you here. Captain Bridger says hi (well, he said more than that, but he kind of went on and on), and Darwin said "DARWIN MISS LUCAS. DARWIN GO TO HOGWARTS." I don't know what the last part means, but I'm sure a smart kid like you can figure it out. Enjoy the gift; I picked it up from a guy who I trust. He always gives me the best in video entertainment.

Lucas stared at the box. A vague feeling of dread rose up inside him when he contemplated what might be inside of it.

George bounced down the stairs into the common room. She was on a hunt for house elves, unsure as to where she could get a bowl oatmeal with raisins. She saw the blonde guy from her sorting reading a letter, a small black box beside him on the table. He looked troubled.

Curious, George approached.

"Hey Lucas. Why the long face?" she asked, smiling at him.

"Hi, George. I got a gift from one of my friends back home." He poked the box with his wand. "The thing is, I'm kind of afraid to open it. I kind of doubt that it's a box of cookies."

George raised a brow. She scrutinized the box, hands in her pockets. "So, what kind of 'not a box of cookies' person sent it? I mean, are we talking about a 'severed hand' kind of person, or a 'underwear' kind of person, or are you talking about an 'evil something' kind of person?" she asked. The box didn't look big enough to hold a graveling, but it did look big enough for a severed hand.
