Would you like to spar? I get the distinct impression that you haven't had much for sparring partners in the past. If you woud like to spar, please meet me on top of the Gryffendor Commons roof.

A note in a neat, but cramped hand, is folded carefully (teenage-girl style) in an envelope, and sent off with the same owl the original message had come with.

Carrie blots up a few spots of spilled ink, and takes a very deep breath. The costume - the decievingly bright tunic, the pixie boots, and the custom made armor that fits close like a glove and was more a security blanket than anything she'd owned as a child - is already partway on under her loose school robes, with the rest buried in pockets or in her pack.
Sparring... huh.
She grabs her glasses on the way out, and adjusts them fitfully as she walks down the long flight of stairs to the commons.

Cass crouches on the roof of the Gryffendor tower, only the flap of her cape in the wind showing that she is not one of the gargoyles herself. She waits patently for the strange girl-Robin who is not her friend Spoiler, wondering what kind of a fighter she'll turn out to be. She must have some skill, or Bruce would never have let her put on the mask. Cass hears the sound of wings, and holds up a gloved wrist. The school owl alights upon it, and she takes teh letter. Offering an owl treat from her utility belt, Cass sends the owl on it's way, then reads the response. Nodding once to herself, she pockets the letter, and climbs easily to the highest peak of the roof to await Carrie's arrival.
