Setting up your razor-wire shrine (Closed RP: River and Stephen Maturin)

River was silent as she led Stephen into their bedroom, not looking at him. "Get undressed and lie down on the bed." Her voice was empty of everything but the words. She ignored him and went to get the barbed wire--- this time remembering to set the ward on it, the same one that they used on the scalpel.


((OOC: Angst. Blood-play. Bondage. Punishment. Barbed wire....

"We will take care of one another." He held her close. "I would rather you not disturb the permanent piercings at first -- perhaps that week we agreed upon, when we will be secluded here --" The concept was not at all like locking one another up; more of a working honeymoon.

"Mmm... all right. As long as you're here with me." She smiled. "Lots of time in bed--- even if we're not doing much. Maybe especially if we're not." The idea of a whole week spent lying about the way they were now sounded marvelous.

"Except that we may need to have recourse to the potions laboratory now and again." A wicked look.

River's eyes lit up. "You made it work? Oh, that's wonderful!" She cocked her head thoughtfully. "But... if I'm not supposed to be putting any... stress... on the piercings...." She trailed off, frowning slightly, not annoyed, merely considering options.

Stephen shrugged. "Mine or yours?"

"I was thinking mine--- not sure we should do yours at the same time." Not least because being denied his own release while giving her hers might just be an appropriate... lesson. She stroked his chest. "So if you're taking... that potion... and I'm not supposed to be moving---" She raised her eyebrows in a question. "Couldn't play with you as much as I'd like." She scratched his chest lightly.

"If you would rather we not use the potion at all ... ?" It was more teasing than questioning.

"Don't be silly." She swatted him affectionately. "I think we should definitely use it. It's just a question of timing, that's all."

"It would be a pity to waste what has already been brewed in any case, you know." He pretended to try to dodge her swat. "You decide on timing and I shall do whatever you like." As it should be.

River grinned at him, wickedly. "I'll do that." She moved on him languidly, rubbing against him, moving her hands along his arms and stroking his calves with her toes.

"Does this mean you forgive me?" Stephen asked, softly.

River pushed herself up to look into his face, her hair falling over them. "I'm not letting you go, if that's what you mean. But I think I might still have to teach you a lesson."

"A different one?" She had already tied him up with barbed wire once today.

River nodded. "Not the barbed wire---" her voice softened a little. "I'm not entirely sure that really... worked. So---" a slight smile--- "I'll have to try something else."
