((Kuronue's revenge written by Kuro's mun, posted by me since we wanted to do this as an open RP for Kusu...not that we're trying to make him uncomfortable or anything...no...not at all))

Kurama wouldn’t take kindly to knowing he’d attacked his lover, his mate. So Kuronue was careful about setting his revenge up so that no one but himself would know. Of course that meant spending a bit of time in the library’s restricted section making sure he knew what to avoid in Kusuriyuri’s wards so that the spell he’d decided to sic him with wouldn’t be disarmed easily. Certainly not with a casual flick of a wand. No, that made things far too easy. he was careful to stay away from demonic curses, however, that was too obvious and stupidly complicated to set up.

He ended up with something of an Ascendio charm, only he altered it a little so that only one room was affected, and anything within it. The problem was trying to get things to hover once they had risen, and taking away the effect of gravity (Kuronue’s mortal enemy).

Eventually, after a few amusing trial and error mishaps, Kuronue had it. Come midnight, he snuck up to the divination tower and used a little bit of wandless hocus-pocus. He stayed only long enough to be certain it would work and then snuck away after removing all traces of his presence.

Kusuriyuri arrived at his office and looked at it puzzled a long moment before entering. Everything was floating within the room from his desk, to the papers that had been in neat piles on top of it. He'd been intent upon finishing studying for his next lesson, which had been disrupted by multiple things already. He frowned, continuing to look around the room. His tea set hovered near the ceiling, upside down. He sighed and stepped into the room, uncertain just how he would get things down again.

After a moment or two of trying to gather things together, he himself began to rise. He tried to fight it, tried to remain on the ground, but it, for the first time in this plane of existence, refused to be under him.

After several minutes of struggled, Kusuriyuri sighed again and gathered what papers he could read and began reading over them, stubbornly ignoring the fact that he was hovering on his side in the middle of the room.

The door was still open, but he wasn't sure he could manage to navigate over to it to close it so he left it as it was, too irritated to bother with his wards.

((Anyone who enters will be affected by the lack of gravity/levitation spell...since Kuro's mun is evil and mandated so. Have fun :D ))

((If you don't know the Tradewinds games, they're frightfully addictive. I enjoyed playing Rihana so much that I thought I'd app her here. She's from Tradewinds: Legends by Sandlot Games.))

A ship is sailing toward Hogwarts. Not on the lake--on the air. It's a stately, beautiful ship with a prow like a dragon's head. It comes to a rest beside the tallest tower, where a few House Elves make it fast, and a ramp descends from the ship to the window of the Sorting Room. A woman dressed in the finest silks appears and descends into the room. This is Rihana Sayar.

She's very attractive and young, appearing to be only in her early twenties. In spite of her expensive clothing and youth, though, there's deep sadness in her eyes, and from the roughness of her hands, one might guess she has worked for her wealth. She carries about her the scent of sea air, spices, and gunpowder.

Rihana looks around as she enters the Sorting Room, not appearing to be thrown in any way by the strangeness. Well, not until she looks at the application. One might guess she was expecting something quite different indeed.

It started out with a simple owl.

Toki,

I would like to discuss something with you in my room.

Charles Ofdensen

As Ofdensen sent one of his ravens out with that owl, he pulled out something he had been saving for this occasion.

Vodka. Laced with truth potion.

He had told Nathan that Toki would be more likely to tell the truth than Skwisgaar. He was just ensuring that Toki did.

Setting out a glass (though he suspected Toki would just drink from the bottle) next to the bottle, he pulled out his brandy so nothing would seem amiss.

He felt a little guilty about enabling Toki's drinking problem but there would be time after this little interrogation to remedy that.
