((Open RP, buuut mainly for happy reunion times with sparklehubby Jasper. The thread with him will automatically be the last one, but if you want your character to meet Alice you can comment wherever. Oh, and I've got permission for this.))

Alice's timing was, as always, impeccable.

She rather wished she wouldn't have to deal with the popcorn butter -- her blouse was beyond saving, and the smell would never wash out -- but she had anticipated it and was prepared. Her clothes would still be in her old room in Hufflepuff, and she still had some time before Jasper would be out of the Sorting Room. Being a seer was ever-so practical sometimes! She nearly danced her way through the corridors, timing it so that as few people as possible would see her with her clothes in the current state.

The room was as it should be, and her clothes were waiting. Alice quickly changed and washed her hair and face from remnants of butter and salt. It didn't take long. Sparklepires repel filth when it's not sexy.

There. Jasper should have gotten her note by now. Excellent! Alice smiled at herself in the mirror and then she was off again, skipping off back to the Popcorn Room. She seated herself outside, and crossed her legs daintily as she waited. Her husband would show up here soon, but in the meantime she absolutely wouldn't mind having someone to talk to.

So, our nonsense in IRC turned to characters who should meet...should in terms of it would be wonderfully horrific and awful for them to do so (all the more for the lulz!)

Akabane should meet Lezard because it would be simply awful. He should also meet Karasu because the crazy would be simply magnificent. It was also a delightfully bad idea for him to meet the sparklepires.

So, who else shall we add to this list?

Carrot Top. He's an actual human, and therefore ought to know better. (Plus I like his eyes.)

A. Slytherin - please state the clever, witty name of the bar in which you bartend, in the dark. 'Blind Man's Pub'
B. Gryffindor - Debate whether Harry should ultimately end up married to Fred or George. (Use examples from a variety of world mythologies to bolster your argument.)  Again, who?
C. Ravenclaw - You guys are supposed to be smart. Explain why my desk is inundated with paperwork at all times, even though I'm constantly disposing of it. Your idiot boss keeps giving you more. (Duh.)
D. Hufflepuff  - Prove you are not useless. I'm a knife expert and I am very hard to hurt.

6. Offer a bribe to the members of this community so that they will not squib you. Items used in bribery do not necessarily have to belong to the person offering the bribe.

New Accomodations [Closed RP: Satou, Jasper, the raptor]

((Permission to control the raptor granted by its player. Feel free to jump in when/if ever you want, though, and if not I'll just have the dino act as you suggested. Poor Satou. Timeline-wise, this takes place before Jasper realises Alice has come back.))

Following the two horrendous slip-ups that had occurred during his Sorting, Jasper was relieved beyond measure to finally be free of the crowded, suffocating room. (He also had the creeping suspicion he'd been quasi-molested by talking headgear, but pondering that was perhaps best left for another day.)

If Edward hadn't been there to intervene...

Jasper would have to thank him for it later, when his nerves weren't quite so raw. Edward would understand.

In the meantime he had a bribe to fulfill, which was the sole reason he hadn't taken off running for the nearest castle exit yet. Disappearing into the woods for a few days was an appealing thought. Unsurprisingly, he was less keen now on sharing Satou's room—what if he lost control again?—but he fully intended to keep his word for as long as he could. As high-strung as Satou sometimes acted, Jasper didn't particularly mind his new roommate's presence. He was easy enough to keep calm, and seemed pretty agreeable in that state, so ideally it would be smooth sailing from here on out.

Slinging his bag over a shoulder, he lightly patted the raptor's snout and then turned to Satou. "Are you ready to go?"
