Suou Tamaki can be quite accurately described as a fangirl fanboy. Specifically, a cultural fanboy. In France, he idolised Japan, every aspect of his Japanese heritage. In Japan he could talk for hours about the romantic beauty of the French: revolutions and passion and liberté, egalité et fraternité.

And now he lives in Scotland. In the Highlands. In a thousand-year-old castle.

Really, it's surprising it took him so long to learn about Scots traditions. (Even more surprising that there's been no Host Club meeting in kilts, even historically inaccurate ones.)

Although Tamaki is much more used to coming up with event ideas than actually organising them, he can do it. And while his artistic skills aren't up for much either, he's quite proud of the posters he's made up for his event. Which is lucky, since they're appearing in every Common Room, classroom and Greater or Lesser Hall he can find. 'Overkill' is a concept Tamaki knows not of.)
