Drizzt found his way to the school grounds, looking up and enjoying what little sunlight was out through a passing cloud. Hogwarts was becoming more of a home to him, though he knew he had much to learn and many ways to adapt.

There was one factor that bothered him, one thing very much out of place that he had only recently remembered out of the thick haze that followed his mind after arriving in this new universe. He was missing a dear friend, though did not know if he would be able to bring her. It tore at Drizzt for days; he wanted to at least try though wild magic and thin lines between planes had near disastrous results in the past.

It was finally time to have his answers and a part of him was willing to make a great risk in the hopes he would find peace from this.

he reached into his belt and produced a small, onyx figurine of a leaping panther and holding it out, hesitating for a moment before sighing and pushing all doubt from his mind.

"Come my shadow," he said.

The figurine turned to mist and soon a 600 pound black panther was looking up at him lovingly. Drizzt laughed with almost a sob, dropping to his knees and throwing one arm around her, nuzzling her fur with his nose.

"Welcome to our new home, Guen," he said. "Feel free to explore.

Soon there was now a dark elf and a huge panther walking around outside.

Being Maou was a lot of work even when Yuuri wasn't in Shin Makoku. At Hogwarts he had responsibilities, too! The curry distribution program, for example, which he hadn't given up on just yet. Plus now there was the problem of getting Wolfram a pony. Not just any pony, a Moral Pony.

Yuuri hadn't figured all that out. He needed to report back to Gwendal, he knew. But it was such a nice day outside ... it would be a shame to waste it indoors. Anyway maybe he would meet ... a centaur, or something! Yeah! And he could ask them what they thought about a Moral Pony! He just hoped he didn't meet any unicorns. After Wolfram's mysterious and vague warnings, he wasn't sure how he'd handle that.

... Hey, this was something new on the grounds. A garden where Yuuri didn't remember one before, a new one, and it even had a picnic area in it. Someone was gardening, and it wasn't a house elf or the cranky groundskeeper.

Being his friendly self, Yuuri just had to stop and say hello.

"Hey, is this your garden?"
