After
an interesting incident in the Sorting Room, Fraser and Dief made their way back to their room. Fraser was feeling a little disoriented after his encounter with the Kowalski-look-a-like, and he had to admit that he was
slightly apprehensive about what Ray would be like after their weekend apart; not to mention what his room must look like after letting Ray at it for three days. Overall, though, his
trip had been a resounding success, and he was feeling generally good-willed and happy. Camping had been peaceful, the weather had been clear and balmy (though what was 'balmy' to Fraser was 'freezing' for most), and Jon Snow and his wolf had made marvellous companions.
The only problem was that it had been three days and he was still nowhere close to figuring out what was going on between him and Ray. He might have been
slightly hoping that the problem would have magically resolved itself. Certainly, he didn't feel
angry anymore -- actually, he was in a very good mood -- so... surely, that was good enough!
Holding the door open for Diefenbaker, he glanced inside the room and immediately his good mood increased tenfold. He had been expecting the worst, but apparently, Ray had actually
cleaned! It was an excellent sign. "Ray?" he called brightly. "We're back."
