Prefect Election Results

The Prefect Election Polls closed at 8:00 p.m. CDT on Monday, July 17, 2006. As a result of those polls, we have two new Prefects to serve with the four already in place. They are:

Gryffindor: Daniel "Oz" Osborne

Slytherin: Hoshigaki Kisame

We had ties in both Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, and are holding runoff polls to determine who the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw Prefects will be. Polls open now and will remain open until 8:00 CDT on Saturday, July 22, 2006. Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws, please be sure to vote! And candidates, you may feel free to launch campaign RPs, put up posters, etc. as long as you stay within our rules.

We check to make sure each vote was made by a character who was sorted into the same House as the poll question they are voting on, and votes by entities who were not sorted into that House are not counted. Seventeen Again: Part 2 (Closed RP - James / Sirius)

The bath was a cacophany of colored bubbles. Blue, green and foaming white. It smelt of sweet grass and hyacinth and the water itself was milky and warm. James had even conjured rubber ducks; one black with a lolling tongue, the other green with antlers. There was a set of bath accessaries that had been easy to transfigure. Adding in the extra detailing was just fun and maybe rubbing it in a little that James still had a fast hand when it came to that type of magic.

Getting into the Prefect's Baths had taken a bit longer than anticipated, mostly because it'd involved hexing two locks and sweet talking a guardian portrait into letting them in. On the plus side, winning over the door guardian meant that they could probably do this again in the future. And better yet, that no one who was allowed to be in here, could just walk in on them without ample warning and possibly time to escape. And escape was all for the good given the fact that Sirius was seventeen again, for just a week and their close brush in with Lily.

The invisibility cloak hung over a hook and James was busy turning off knobs. Padfoot was the one currently using his charm to triple ensure they wouldn't be interrupted. Whomever had thought a hunting dog was an appropriate bathroom monitor had completely forgotten about the possibility of an animagus.

"Pads stop licking yourself and showing off and come in the tub before the stench gets permament."

RP: Quidditch Pitch

Firstly, a poster appears on Common Room walls, and in the Great Hall. It is printed on plain parchment but spattered with drops of oil:

Quidditch Season!

Please all House Quidditch Captains ensure your team is ready to play in the next few weeks. Quidditch season has been delayed for personal professional reasons. Mr Butlertron will be available for practices and advice on the Quidditch pitch for a few days.

Also: Anyone interested in the position of Assistant Flying Coach should send an owl to Mr Butlertron.


Mr Butlertron rolls onto the Quidditch pitch with a selection of school brooms and the case that holds the balls for playing Quidditch.

He looks gives the hoops a check from the ground, and then goes around the pitch itself, testing for flatness.

Hiatus!

I'm flying up to London tomorrow and I'll be gone until late Tuesday (and meeting Mai-mun on Saturday, SQUEE!). So, until then, my chars are all on hiatus and Liz and Hela will be modding the comm without me.

ICly, Ryuuji is busy working on the summer games that Black Crown's releasing. Jason is being his usual anti-social self, Sal is prepping for his next class, Eros is mourning Psyche's loss and Mystique is worrying that one morning, she'll wake up and be popcorn.

It hadn't taken long for Lain to get used to the idea of owl delivered mail so she began to write letters to everyone at her sorting.

Their unwarded but Lain will know if they were intercepted and she can be, how to say this, persuasive even without knowing any magic yet.
