Owl to Group 2 & Herbology Group 2 RP

Hey guys~ I'm waiting in the library so we can work on the project.

Eiko sat waiting in the library, several books on Herbology spread before her. She was waiting for the rest of her group to arrive.

"That's great!" Mokuba said with a bright grin. "It sounds so much better like that. More informed and professional. Great job, Todd." And of course, Mokuba wanted everyone to feel comfortable in their group, and do something. He didn't like the idea of anyone getting detention.... It lurked in the back of his mind and bothered him a great deal. Perhaps this school was nothing like what his brother went through in being "home schooled," but it still unnerved Mokuba.

"Umm...since I did owl Professor Crowley, he knows I've helped out some. And Eiko's done something, and Chii and Todd. What about Calvin? Maybe he should read the presentation instead?"

"If he wants to... otherwise, the teacher might get mad, and he might-" Todd went pale as he remembered what Professer Crowley had said would happen to anyone who didn't chip in. More accurately, he remembered who would be dealing out the consequences.

Mokuba quirked an eyebrow at Todd's reaction. Okay...detention didn't sound good to start with, but Mokuba had always thought it was just boring work while a teacher watched you.

Todd's reaction didn't say that, at all.

"Okay.... I've gotten the impression detention here is not something we want to endure. But...tell me, Todd, what do you know of it to react so? And why is it that scary?" And just in case Todd was traumatized, Mokuba gently put an arm around his shoulders to show Todd he was safe at the moment.

Mokuba wasn't going to let anyone in his group get penalized, not if he could help it.

Todd gave Mokuba's arm a confused look. He wasn't used to people being so... well, nice. In the back of his mind, he was almost waiting for the other shoe to drop, half-expecting Mokuba's head to explode at any moment.

"I... I think the teacher said that Mr. Teatime and the Scary Neighbor Man were doing detentions, and they're both pretty crazy." he said after a moment or two. "Shmee doesn't like the Scary Neighbor Man at all, but... And I'm not sure, but I think Mr. Teatime said that he tried to kill the Easter Bunny."

Mokuba noticed the odd look and only become more concerned for Todd.

"It's okay, Todd. You helped write up the presentation, so you won't have to go. I'll make sure of that," Mokuba soothingly insisted as he started to lightly rub Todd's back. This was kinda nice--he was being just like his big brother was with him! And Todd seemed so...timid and scared. Like the type of kid bullies like to pick on.

Mokuba could more than sympathize with that, and it just made him want to protect Todd and the other members of their group even more.

"Don't worry about a thing. I'll make sure all of us make it through, okay?" Somehow or another... Alice was excused, and Calvin was as well, but he could just read the presentation. Or Mokuba could--however things worked out.
