A cabinet outside the Great Hall begins to shake, issuing what sound like muffled cries. At this point, a loud explosion, like that of a revolver being fired, is heard throughout the corridor as the doorknob is shot clean off the cabinet and a bullet ricochets off the walls, finally embedding itself into the left eye of a statue portraying a pompous looking young wizard. It is at this time that a haggard, emaciated looking Mal Reynolds falls out of the cabinet with a thud, muttering nonsensically and looking at one time both lost and pissed.

I do not expect it to be very severe, but I cannot say for certain until he returns to consciousness, which return we should at least attempt to effect."
His ever-so-scientifically-advanced method of doing this is to pour some brandy from a flask into Reynolds' mouth. It splashes over his face.
