Starter Debate Questions:

1) How will you make your House a better place?
2) Are you experienced? Have you ever been experienced?

4) If you were to get your ass kicked, who would you want to do it and why?

6) Where my lasers at?


Rules for the Debate:

A. Any persons currently nominated for Prefect may choose to answer or not answer any questions asked.

B. Any Hogwarts student or staff member, including those running for Prefect, may pose additional questions to any or all nominees. If you would like to ask nominees questions, please ask them now ((OOCly: post them in a comment or comments to this post. Be sure to indicate in your subject line that your comment contains questions, and if they are directed to specific candidates, please indicate that, as well.)) Keep in mind that nominees are not required to answer any questions. Voters may choose to take failure to answer any way they would like.

C. Question answering begins immediately, and lasts until the time the Polls go up, which will be approximately 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2009. ((OOCly that's 8 pm Eastern Daylight Time. ICly it wouldn't make any sense to specify a time zone since they're all at Hogwarts XD ))

So the guy with the tentacles in Ravenclaw has promised his house they can have hot tubs. What are your thoughts on hot tubs? Can we have them, too? Which members of our fine house would you like to see naked *in* said hot tubs?

"Neither. Hot tubs are for relaxing in with an appropriate alcoholic beverage. But I guess swiving could happen if people really wanted to. Provided the filters worked well enough."

Zex's tentacles drooped in surprise at the question and the questioner. "Why, human female (it is 'human female' right?) I would love to see any human in the hot tub- we can learn so much from each other's bodies, especially from those that are very unusual! This will be strictly on a volunteer basis, though. I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable, but I'd love to see you in a hot tub!"
He gave a look that in his own culture would be interpreted as exceedingly amorous.

"Uh, thanks," I answer. "I'm sure I'll take you up on that." Except not even I can manage to put up with tentacles. Ugh. But I can't bear to turn down someone so darn earnest.

"Is a hot tub like a hot spring? I think it would be great to have a place to relax like that!" Rika is aware that Oly is probably asking something perverted, but that doesn't actually bother her.

"It so would," I say, smiling at the young girl. "It'd be especially relaxing after a workout." The more I think about this idea, the more I'm convinced we absolutely need a hot tub.
