When closets rebell ((Open RP, Great Hall))

There were things about this school that were beyond Kusuriyuri's dreams. That he'd find ones so precious to him as Kurama and his students was still surprising to him, still enough to bring a secret smile to his lips.

There were things about this school that were beyond baffling. The tendency for friends, enemies, and otherwise to show up and vanish with little notice, for one.

The fact that his closet refused to give him anything but a short black dress this morning was another. No matter where he looked in their apartment, he could not find his kimono or even any of Kurama's clothes to charm to fit him. It was the only clothing, aside from a black headscarf, he could find.

Believing his closet to be as perverse as the rest of this school, he also figured he wouldn't find his normal clothing until he'd been properly humiliated by wearing what his closet offered.

Boukensha looked at him in askance, but insisted on riding on his shoulder as he went to the Great Hall on his way to his office to study. He hoped that there would be few about as he left, but was sure that there was some perversion in the school that would cause his hope to be rendered into naught.

"Ah, no, I don't have anywhere to go." Damn, Kusuriyuri did look attractive in that dress.

Kusuriyuri walked over to a table after requesting a tea set from one of the house elves. Lacking anywhere to hide his usual tea, he also asked them to bring tea. "It is not of the quality that is preferred," he apologized while preparing the tea.

"It's all right, there are worse things to eat or drink."

Kusuriyuri nodded and handed a cup over to Kaga. "Has all been well?" he asked. Boukensha hopped from his shoulder and sniffed at a saucer of milk the house elf had brought for him, taking a dainty lick before looking between them as if he were part of the conversation.

"Well, yes, things have been well. My nephew's come to Hogwarts." He sneaks some looks at Kusu's dress.

Kusuriyuri nodded. "It is good to have those you care about near," he said. Boukensha chirruped before taking another lap of milk. "He would agree, it seems," Kusuriyuri said solemnly.

"I think your cat would be despondant if you disappeared without him, Kusuriyuri," he said, scratching Boukensha behind his head.

Kusuriyuri smiled slightly at Boukensha's pretense at dignity while pressing into Kaga's hand to get his itchy places scratched. "He should lack for a ride, at the least," he said solemnly.

"And how does he think of your...ah, current attire?" he asked with a smile.

Boukensha mewed in obvious disgust, belying the nuzzling and purring he was doing. "He prefers collars to ride within," Kusuriyuri explained. "He is not fond of this, but he would not be left behind."

"A shame. If I may be a bit bold..." the Chairman didn't finish his sentence, he had no wish to offend Kusuriyuri.

"Bold?" Kusuriyuri asked, looking at Kaga. "It is wiser to speak the truth," he said.

"Well, ah, you are rather attractive in that outfit, Kusuriyuri."

Kusuriyuri looked down at himself and then at Kaga, a slightly quizzical expression on his face. "You are most kind to say so," he murmured, bowing slightly.

"Yes, well," he sipped at his tea. "Kurama is a lucky man," he did add.

Kusuriyuri's eyes focused on the kitten. "Kaga-san is very kind to say so," he murmured, unaware of the softness of the expression on his face. "This one had not thought to find such."

Kaga didn't respond to that verbally, just smiled at Kusuriyuri before sipping at more tea.

"And Kaga-san is well here? Has he a companion?" he asked, though he was aware of Yukimura's lingering scent letting him know that they frequently enjoyed each other's company.

"On occasion." He didn't say whom.

"That is good," Kusuriyuri said. "It is better not to be lonely if there is a suitable companion to be found." He took a sip of tea. "Neither should be lonely then."

"Unless it's by choice."

"If it is choice, then one is not lonely, yes?" Kusuriyuri asked. "One is only then alone."

"Very true. But it's only a fine line between alone and lonely."

"That is so. And, sometimes, one does not realize until they are no longer alone."

"Indeed. And sometimes a person only wants a few minutes of not being alone, rather than a lifetime."
