When closets rebell ((Open RP, Great Hall))

There were things about this school that were beyond Kusuriyuri's dreams. That he'd find ones so precious to him as Kurama and his students was still surprising to him, still enough to bring a secret smile to his lips.

There were things about this school that were beyond baffling. The tendency for friends, enemies, and otherwise to show up and vanish with little notice, for one.

The fact that his closet refused to give him anything but a short black dress this morning was another. No matter where he looked in their apartment, he could not find his kimono or even any of Kurama's clothes to charm to fit him. It was the only clothing, aside from a black headscarf, he could find.

Believing his closet to be as perverse as the rest of this school, he also figured he wouldn't find his normal clothing until he'd been properly humiliated by wearing what his closet offered.

Boukensha looked at him in askance, but insisted on riding on his shoulder as he went to the Great Hall on his way to his office to study. He hoped that there would be few about as he left, but was sure that there was some perversion in the school that would cause his hope to be rendered into naught.

"That is so. And, sometimes, one does not realize until they are no longer alone."

Boukensha chirruped and then moved closer to Kaga, demanding more attention.

Kaga laughed and petted Boukensha more vigorously. "All eyes on you, eh?"

"It is perhaps that he is pampered," Kusuriyuri said softly.

"Perhaps." More petting.

"He is like Kurama," Kusuriyuri said, his tone utterly solemn. "Bold, demanding, affectionate."

Kaga hummed and gave Boukensha another scratch. "If he works for you, then that's good, then."

"It is mostly pleasant," Kusuriyuri replied. "Though, there are times this one is led to believe he is a pillow only."

"From Boukensha or from Kurama?"

"Both, and Belophoebe," Kusuriyuri said. "At times, it is quite uncomfortable, and yet, somehow comforting."

"I think it's the companionship factor. To know that someone is there for you."

"That may be so," Kusuriyuri said. "It was not something I had anticipated desiring," he admitted softly.

"As you said, you don't know what you needed until you had it."

Kusuriyuri smiled slightly. "Have you found things you did not know you needed? You speak of them familiarly."

Kaga sat in thought for a while. "Hard to say. I may be of the type to not know what I need until it's taken away."

Kusuriyuri considered that a moment. "Then, may you never know what you needed."

"Thank you, sensei," Kaga said with a bow and drank more tea.
