Hidden in each tent (thanks to the combined efforts of his three ravens), there was a notice:

Malice spent awhile walking around the place looking at various tents before finally the one she had been assigned.

'Marriage?'

She wasn't a stranger to the practice but it wasn't something she was expected to know about.
It involved dresses, typically white.
However, as she didn't know she was to be married, all she had was a black dress (http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Internet_Goddess/Malicesweddinggown.jpg) on hand.

None the less, she did have this (http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Internet_Goddess/Prod_malice_NDRv2.jpg) on underneath should their marriage be consummated.

Walking into the tent she saw someone else already there.

“Charles Ofdensen?” She gave as warm a smile as her plastic face would allow.

“I am Malice; I am now your wife”

Ofdensen looked up from his writing with an arched eyebrow. So this was his wife. Could be worse. Still, he would rather have a say in who and when he married.

"I see. Well, nice to meet you, Miss Malice."

((Just to avoid confusion, Malice is roughly 160cm/5.2 feet tall and has a fake skin covering. Otherwise it's rather obvious she’s artificial.))

She looked around the inside of the tent for a moment, checking things out.

"Do you know what comes now? I am afraid I only really know about the ceremony and even that was far different then was expected."

"That's because the Hat fooled us. To answer your question, typically, the marriage is consummated, although if you don't wish to...." he left his sentence hanging.
