Open rp; return of Mark!

Mark wasn't really sure what had happened or where he'd been. Or even why he was stood in a room filled with popcorn. It was more than a little odd. He couldn't remember why or even where he was. He pushed up his glasses and noticed his camera which he quickly picked up. Hoping that in someway it would hold an answer to what had gone on before he'd been... popcorn? After a few more minutes of generally looking confused about where and what he'd been he wandered out into the corridor not forgetting his camera of course. He remembered something about Gryffindor but not a whole lot else. So that was where he headed towards.

JD bumped into the man as he came around the corridor, and stumbled for several feet, surprised. "Oh, hi!" he said brightly, recovering his balance. "Sorry..." he said apologetically.

"Hey..." Mark gave the guy a look as he held the camera rather tightly. "It's fine, you wouldn't know how to get to Gryffindor would you? I'm a bit lost."

"Oh, sure!" he said brightly, giving him a warm smile. "I'm going there too. I'm JD." he said pleasantly, holding out a hand.

Mark hesistantly shook the hand offered. "I'm Mark..." He paused a moment. "Mark Cohen. You live there?" He wondered how long he'd been gone. "I was popcorn." And that wasn't odd saying that. "I think."

"Well, I'm actually a Hufflepuff, but yeah, I live in Gryffindor now." he smiled sympathetically. "I'm so sorry about that, it just...happens sometimes. We're trying to fix it, but..." he shrugged hopelessly/ "I'm really sorry."

"Oh." Mark had a slight look of confusion. "Trying to fix it? You're a doctor or something?"He pushed his glasses up.

"Yeah." JD grinned. "Well, nearly. In training." he explained. "What about you, are you a photographer?" he asked looking at the camera. "Neat camera!"

"In a way, trying to capture life as it happens. But then again life is getting to much like film it's getting... Thanks."Mark smiled. "So how did you end up moving?"

JD smiled to himself, his eyes brightening a little. "I met a great guy, started dating and he asked me to move in with him." he said, not knowing how his voice changed a little when he talked about Jack.

Mark knew that look, he knew that tone. He couldn't help smiling a little but then remembering what had happened. "You're lucky."

"I am." he said, smiling again. "What about you?" he asked, looking at him concerned. "Can you remember if you have any friends around Hogwarts?"

"Well, there's Maureen, I think, I didn't see her name at least when I left that room." He'd seen a couple of others he knew in there as he'd gone. "But I don't know where she is."

"If you use an owl I'm sure you'll be able to get her!" JD said positively.

"Owls..." That sounded vaguely familiar. "Owls! Yes."
