Fiyero had intended to wait a few days longer to tell Nessarose and Galinda of his discovery, both to give Elphaba time after the bodyswitching incident and to make the good news something of a holiday gift. While it is not a holiday he celebrates at home, though there is something similar in Oz, he has effectively gotten into the Christmas spirit and even added to the surprise with actual gifts. However, his ~~and his mun's~~ impatience won out over intent and the following notes and packages go out now rather than two days from now on Christmas Eve.

As I promised at my Sorting, I'm writing to let you know I have found Elphaba for certain. The details how are a very strange story, but I have drawn you a map to where her room is in Ravenclaw.

While I'm certain the news is the better present for this Christmas holiday they celebrate here, I hope you enjoy the additional gift.

The owl bears a gift box along with the note and a small hand-drawn map showing where Elphaba's room is located in Ravenclaw. The box contains a white gold and sapphire bracelet, the sapphires formed into the shape of small flowers with small diamonds as their centers.
