Hello! I don't know if you remember me, but we chatted a bit at Harry's party. You spoke well of Quidditch, and I was hoping you could help me out with something.

I was looking to buy a broomstick for Sirius' birthday. However, I'm afraid I'm rather behind on the latest models. I was wondering if you could, perhaps, suggest a broom that might work? I want something nice, something he'll enjoy.

Any help you could give me would be smashing, Oliver.

Of course I remember you! You're Harry's mum, you made that great Quidditch charm, and you had the pretty red hair.

Is this Sirius Black? The one that Potter Harry and Professor Lupin claim is not the murderer everyone thinks he is? That Black? I guess that as Harry's mom, if you trust him, too, he's worth getting a broom for.

Did you want speed, maneuverability, or both?

You could come to the Gryffindor common room, and I can show you some of the latest brooms.

And yes, this is for Sirius Black. And he most assuredly is not a murderer. He's my best mate. Besides, I'd really be the one who would know if he'd been a Death Eater, wouldn't I? Trust me, there's not a better man alive than Sirius. And he's very definitely worth a broom.
