I'm interested in your friends case; are you absolutely sure the doctors said that it was congenital muscular dystrophy? That can sometimes be mis-diagnosed.
If you give me a thorough list of her symptoms, there may be something I can do to get a better diagnosis and actually treat it.

I know she gets chest infections easily, because she nearly died from laughing at a silver balloon that I had to cut up.
Does this mean you are a better doctor than I originally thought and I do not need to take revenge on you in a creative and frightening manner?

Sarah is perfect in every way (she says) apart from her muscles. She says her relatives feel sorry for her so she gets lots of things, so I do not think it is herid herad heri runs in the family.
