Open RP in the Hospital Wing

Agnes was busy as usual, this time preparing some simple potions for regular use around the Wing. She was also improving her special recipy for cleaning potions. Agnes' cleaning potions would burn the mess from the surface, it was that powerful. She smiled as the solution grew a sickly green colour, then continued stirring. She felt like she should be cackling, but only new fangled wanny bees did that, right?

Molly wandered in, thankful to find the place more or less deserted. She'd come in before, looking for some magical equivalent of an antipsychotic, but the hospital wing had been so crowded she'd ducked out, being too nervous to remain around so many people.

"Hi," she said. "I'm Molly, and I was...wondering if I could get a potion, or...something that might be equal to this." She produced her empty bottle of Stelazine--she didn't know if the nurse would know what it was, but it was worth a shot.

Agnes glanced up from the potions, then looked at the young woman sternly. "Never interrupt a witche making a potione." she said as a word of warning, before standing up and taking the vial. "What's this?" she asked, shaking it.

Molly blinked, but rallied. "It's Stelazine," she said. "It's for...I don't think the wizarding world has an equivalent for schizophrenia. I have...if I don't take my medication, I hear things--voices, other stuff. I'm out of medication, so I was hoping there might be a potion or something I could replace it with."

"You knowe dear, the wizarding worlde is the exact same as the muggle worlde except we can use magic." she grimaced "I'm sure we have somethinge we can use. Have you seen a headologist?"

'Headologist' must be something like a shrink. "I used to see one all the time, back home--haven't seen one since I came here," Molly said. "I've got a little of this stuff left in another bottle, but I wanted to see if I could get more--or something like it--before I ran out completely. It's...not good, when I run out."

Sure it is...I have fun, anyway, the Narrator said gleefully.

"Stop it, you," Molly snapped, not realizing she'd spoken aloud until it was too late. "Sorry, not you," she said to Agnes. "Just the Narrator."

Jack was there to see JD. Oh brilliant, her. He wasn't going to be nice, last time she'd thought it so funny to make him think he was pregnant. He tried to avoid her and make a run past her to see if he could find JD.

"Master Harkness," she said, not looking up. "I truste that you've cleaned your shoes before entering." she said, stirring the cleaning potion hopefully.

Jack didn't bother correcting her about calling him 'Master' he just turned grinned. "Yeah." He looked down. "I think they're clean." Fuzzy sheep slippers.

"What are you here for?" she asked, looking up and deigning not to comment on the slippers.

Squee peeked inside the hospital wing and knocked nervously on the doorjamb. Hospitals usually made him uneasy, but he wasn't here for himself. His pet devil had been chewing on Shmee again, and the bear hadn't taken well to Squee's solution: covering bits of his fur in hot sauce.

"Um... excuse me?" Squee paused, looked over his shoulder, and hissed at the bear in the backpack. "I said I was sorry already!"

Agnes smiled awkwardly at the youngster, a little out of practice. "Yes, dear?" she asked, standing up.

"Umm..." Squee took a deep breath. He really didn't like hospitals... "M-Moofy -she's my pet- she's been chewing on Shmee again, and it's messing up his stitches like crazy and I tried putting hot sauce on his fur so she'd stop chewing on him, and it's sort of working but it makes him smell funny and it stains red and I was wondering if you had anything that'd make him taste bad but wouldn't stain or smell?"

Taste bad but not smell? Being in a hospital, Agnes had about a million solutions. "Hmmm..." she said, walking over to one of the large cupboards. "If you put this on him, I promise that it won't bite again." Maybe too harsh? Maybe she should choose something that wouldn't make the cat decorate the room hint-of-brain... "Ah, how about one that electrocutes the pet, as well as tastes bad? Much more effective. No lasting damage!"

A blond teenager (or so he appeared) marched up to Agnes, walking like a man with a purpose. "I was ordered by my king to be nice." Wolfram spat out. "I shall then volunteer my talents. I know some healing magic, which can be powered further by yelling at the patient. Also, my beauty awakens dying men from comas. Which bed is first?"

Agnes looked at the young man, obviously taken aback. "You can't just assume you get in." she said, getting annoyed. "You can't work here."

"What?" Wolfram looked at Agnes like she was mad. "I am here to do good deeds for humankind. I am here by orders of my king, Shibuya Yuuri. If you have any objections, you should take it up with him."

"He's not King of mye bloody Wing, so he has no power here." she said, reflexively checking her wand was in the right position.

Janet walked in with a folder in hand. She had asked a house elf to get her records (http://www.stargate-sg1-solutions.com/wiki/Janet_Fraiser) out of the SGC as discreetly as possible, and was pleased when the elf reappeared with the file.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for a Madame Nutter." Or a Dr. Perry Cox, just to rub these records in his face.

"That's me, dear." she said, looking at her expectantly. "Who are you?"

"Pleased to meet you." She held out a hand. "I'm Dr. Janet Fraiser, Ravenclaw. I had come in a few weeks ago to ask about observing in here and was greeted by one Dr. Cox, who assured me that I wouldn't be welcome back without my records. I realize that you have a staff in place already, but I would like to observe and see how magical methods of dealing with patients differ from the ways I'm used to."

Agnes shook the woman's hand pleasantly and nodded amiably. "I trust that he was polite enough to you?" she asked, knowing how rude the smarmy git could be.

Today was one of Dr. Cox's precious few days off, and normally that meant he would be nowhere near the Hospital Wing and its inhabitants. Today, unfortunately, fate had interfered with that goal. He swept into the Wing, minus his lab coat and with a slightly harried expression, and made directly for the back rooms.

"Doct-, Cox, what are you doing here?" she asked, standing up.

Damn! Without missing a beat, Cox turned around to greet Agnes, a taut grin spreading across his face. "Aggie," he said, "how are you? Gosh, you look just fantastic -- is that a new set of horns I see?" Mocking curiousity, he peered at the top of her head. "It is, isn't it?"
