I was wondering if it would be alright with you if JD took some time off at the end of the month, for three days, long weekend sorta deal. It's our six month anniversary and I was hoping to make it special. I'll make sure he'll be back on the Monday. If you could just tell him not to turn up on the 27th for a few days it would be nice. But don't tell him why. Make up something. I'd do something to say thanks. Within reason.

Yeah, sure, I think the kid can take a break for a couple of days. After all, six months, that's a pretty big deal. I think that's an entire five months and two weeks longer than he's ever managed to go before without totally combusting. Great work!

Anyway, don't worry. I can definitely keep him out of here for a few days. That won't be a problem.

Thanks for pointing that out, because I really was not aware of it. As for a gift, let's see... I'd say a Christina Aguilera CD, but I'm sure he already has all of them. Dido?

Like I said, this is a good five months longer than any relationship I've seen him in, but there could be plenty of reasons for that. Working in a hospital tends to kind of eat relationships. Or it might be because, of the three people I know he was with in the last year, one was a drug addict (who was also stealing from the hospital), one was Barbie (so that was neurotic and dysfunctional), and one was my ex-wife (enough said). Hey, if it's lasted this long already you're probably fine, right?

I knew about Barbie Elliot, but not Jordan. It's not that it bothers me I mean I've not told him about all my adventures. I had a conversation with Elliot about it, I like her little odd but she's nice. Jordan... not so much.

I'm so glad we agree about my ex.

Anyway, lucky for the both of us, that ended after, oh, about five minutes (I'm guessing -- Jordan doesn't like to cuddle afterwards), although she does continue to hold it over my head to this very day. Frankly, I'm surprised she hasn't done the same to you.

One of the better teams in the NFL. I think I've been at a couple of superbowls they've won.

I'm guessing this is where Steeler got his name from.

Yeah. One was mix up should have gone somewhere else, but I wasn't complaining. I was at the world cup when England won too. Time-travel has it's uses.
