Closed RP; Katou goes to Crowley's office

After getting directions from Kaiba and Mokuba, Katou wished the stupid keyboard's shift key would work without me having to pound on it headed towards Crowley's office, and rapped on the door with the back of his hand, not quite sure how to act but feeling fine none-the-less. He hadn't seen Crowley in seven years, and Crowley had apparently never seen him in his life, but what're you gonna do? He wasn't nervous, per se, just somewhat confused.

He grinned a little. When the door didn't open right away, he knocked again and continued knocking until it did.

Rolling his eyes, Crowley called out, "Come in. It's not locked." It never was. Only an idiot would mess with a demon's office.

Katou opened the door and walked in, then looked around. "So, you wanted to see me?" he asked.

Looking up, Crowley saw the boy he'd recently met at a sorting. What had he said? Something about Disneyland?

"Yeah, have a seat," he said waving towards the chair in front of him. "Want anything?"

Katou sat. "If you got any booze, I'll have some of that," he said. "Otherwise, I'm fine."

With a casual hand wave, Crowley miracled two rum and Cokes.

"Right then. So, about your sorting. You were talking about Disneyland and how we've met before..."

Katou stared, and then took a drink, not entirely sure how he was supposed to react to something like that. Well, I am in a magic school.

"Oh yeah," Katou said, shrugging. "Well, if you don't remember I don't see how it's that important."

"Well, I don't like not knowing things. When someone tells me I'm the reason they're gay, I'm going to ask a question or two. And I really don't like not knowing how much you know about me. It's quite possible that it's not enough. So, spill, kid."

Somehow, he had the feeling 'I know you give great head' wouldn't go over so well. "Dunno too much," he settled for instead. "I mean, I remember you being able to tie two knots in a cherry stem, but it was seven years ago and I forgot a lot."

Now that made Crowley laugh in surprise. "You know that, huh? I don't tell that to just anyone. Generally only people I've had a certain relationship with..."

He was beginning to think that Katou was someone he'd tempted, but he generally remembered faces and the boy's was not familiar. Still anything seemed possible these days.

Katou laughed a little. "Is that so?" he asked, taking a long drink from his drink. "Well, if you don't remember it really ain't all that important."

Crowley got the feeling that Katou didn't really believe what he was saying. No one likes to think they were forgotten, after all, especially adolescent boys who changed orientations. "I think it is. To both of us. Because as far as I remember, I was in London seven years ago and you think I was at Disneyland picking up teenagers. And I need to know what our acquaintance was like in order to tell you what you need to know, understand?"

"Well I don't know. Might not have been seven years for you. We had people from all over the time spectrum." He smiled a little. "You got me a Strat. I left it at home though. Didn't want to get it damaged or nothing."

"Look, like I told you, I haven't been to Disneyland in fifty years and there were definitely no Japanese kids there then. I suppose it's possible that I go in the future and meet you then, but it was the past for you, right?"

He shrugged and sipped his drink. "I got you a guitar? Why?"

Katou laughed. "Dude, I don't care when you go to Disneyland. There's always going to be Japanese kids there. Bet there's more Japanese kids there then white kids."

"I've got no idea," Katou said, laughing a little. "No fucking idea."

"Not ten years after World War II," he said. "The Americans had just let your people out of internment camps. They weren't going to send you all to Disneyland."

"Oh," Katou said. "Must've been the only time in history that --" something seemed to click in Katou's brain. "Wait, how old are you?"

Now they were getting somewhere. The kid wasn't entirely a waste of brain cells. Crowley grinned. "How old do you think I am?"

"More than fifty," Katou answered dryly. "So you tell me."

"What would you say if I were to tell you that I was over six thousand years old?"

"I'd say you're a fucking cradle robber." He laughed a little, taking a small sip from his drink. "Well, now I feel all dirty and pedophiled," but he looked rather amused despite it.

"Mmm," said Crowley noncommitally. "And you think I'm kidding."

"Who knows." He grinned. "You could be telling the truth for all I know, but I don't much care. Whatever happened happened in the past, and it don't really matter any more."

Crowley arched an eyebrow. "Would it matter to you if I told you we never had sex?"

Katou ran a hand through his hair. "Did I mention sex?"

"No," he said patiently. "But you didn't need to. Based on what you've said and what I know of myself, I made an educated guess."
