There's one problem: Glory. Glory's here! She's alive and sucking brains, and she did it to Abby! Abby's better now, the hospital people here are great, but it can't happen again. I can't let her get hurt again, and you do understand, don't you? I love her too much. Please, Willow, you've got to help me protect her! Whatever you can do, please do it.

I know we haven't known each other all that long, but I feel like you've become a really good friend, and I need your help! Do you know Abby Sciuto? She's this beautiful Goth girl, and I'm completely, totally, and absolutely in love with her! I've never felt anything like this. You don't have anything against lesbians, do you, because I never knew I was until I met Abby at your party. I thought I was into guys, but on the way back, I saw Dieter completely naked, and it didn't do a thing for me. All I can think about is Abby!

But here's my point: Glory sucked Abby's brain (she's better now), and I have got to stop her from ever doing it again. You know some hexes and curses, right? You've got to teach them to me! That BITCH can never harm Abby again, ever! Please, please, PLEASE help me out!

Dawn hugged the letter to herself. Abby, her Abby! This was so perfect. She read it again, several times. There was a connection there, she knew it. She immediately went to write a reply.

And stopped. Maybe she was coming on too strong. What if she was coming across as a skank? She couldn't have Abby thinking that. Dawn resolved to wait to reply. A few hours, maybe.

She sat back on her bed, cuddling Enkidu and wishing she was with Abby. But she couldn't right now, not until she'd handled Glory.

Why hold off on the lessons? I need to do something about Glory now! She could hurt Abby again, and you may not understand, but it'd kill me if anything else happened to her! I need to stop Glory!

Who else can I ask, then? Who's good with curses? Or maybe there's a potion that could make Glory vulnerable--please, Lily, you have to help me, or help me find someone who can! I can't stop thinking about Abby, but I know that if I'm around her now, she could be at risk, because the last time Glory was after me, she attacked my friends and family, too. I'm DYING here! I need to be with her!

Maybe you're right, though--maybe I shouldn't contact Glory. Not until I'm ready to face her. But I'm going to be ready one of these times, and when I am, she won't be coming back. Ever again.

Handle my owling? OH, you mean so Glory won't catch on! That's a great idea. Could you owl Faith for me? Ask her to watch over Abby or something while I can't? Someone has to protect her!

You're a great friend, Lily. I know it may sound weird, but I've never felt like this, ever. I feel like my head's going to explode, and maybe my heart. Help me figure something out, please--I'm so confused, my brain's burning up, it's hard to think.
