1. What is your favorite cheese? Why is it your favorite?
I do not understand how cheese is relevant. At all. Even for your human ways of illogic. But if you must know, I have found myself missing Neufchatel.



2. Who would you kill first, Barney or Carrottop?
I have come to understand that wanton killing is not favoured in this world you mortals have carved and pulled and fought over like so many vultures clawing over a carcass. However, they both displease me and one I think I could have cared for, if caring is in me, would have wanted children protected first. So Barney.


3. What time is it where you are?
After he died. All else is irrelevant.

4. If you were Albus Dumbledore returned from the dead, which member of the Order of the Phoenix would you sexually harass?How would you harass them?
Those I have found pleasing to my eye are dead. There are no more who draw any interest. All is ashes and dust and the bitterness of necessary compromise.

A. Slytherin - please state the clever, witty name of the bar in which you bartend, in the dark.
If I were to have such a task as you describe the stars would fall from the heavens and turn the world to fire and the universe to bloody screams. Is this the dark you mean? Our Kingdom. For I have walked with those who, though I knew it not, had seeds of true valour. They were worthy seneschals


B. Gryffindor – Debate whether Harry should ultimately end up married to Fred or George. Use examples from a variety of world mythologies to bolster your argument.

Fred. This shell that holds me was named Fred. Winnifred. And it was loved. And I was cared for and guided in this new, strange world because I had her face. I was tended to as a King should be tended by a loyal vassal. Can George exist without the death of Fred? Because then, perhaps, if it is like it was with me, the original inhabitant of the shell, and what now is contained within it, then the choice is simple.


C. Ravenclaw – You guys are supposed to be smart. Explain why my desk is inundated with paperwork at all times, even though I'm constantly disposing of it.

Your attendant is distracted and incompetant. Punish them severely if you have no wish to kill them and the improper workflow will cease.


D. Hufflepuff – Prove you are not useless.

You insult me. I was the Ruler Surpreme in a Primordial Age. My name alone caused fear and weeping. Do not think me less because of this limited human like body. I have survived the forces of hell arrayed against me and those who did bid me stand by them. I am an Old One, formidable and eternal. I was here when all else was but mud dreaming of the strength to reach for light.

6. Offer a bribe to the members of this community so that they will not squib you. Items used in bribery do not necessarily have to belong to the person offering the bribe.

Offerings? Are you gods to be given offerings? Though it may be the way of ...adapting. The necessary compromise he spoke of. My grief, still it knows no bounds and I would reclaim the powers I have lost by the necessity of this current form. I have battles yet to enter.

My former kingdom is ashes, the kingdom my guide served is no more. But I have trophies of war; teeth, claws, armor, the wet sucking insides of varied enemies, now dried. Their organs are things of small power, dragged in my wake.

I have also regained some of my aptitude with the life which gives no reason or excuses for it's existence.

During my internment it was overtaken or shadowed, rot and dust. Nothingness. Stripped and mauled and pillaged and left to float where I had placed it for safe keeping out of time. But do not think the lack of my armies is a lack of strength."

Anyway, you seem relatively serious and kinda emo, though you're probably justified in that. So Gryffindor or Slytherin? I suppose it depends on if you prefer spandex or hard cheese. If you had to choose between one or the other, which would you take?

And what happened to the original Winnifred, if she's no longer in there with you, and why were you possessing her anyway? I'm getting Sennen flashbacks. If you draw a card and challenge me to a duel, I am so going to scream at the universe again.

She pauses when he brings up Winifred. "The shell, Winnifred, she is no more. She was the vessel of my rebirth. My powers emptied her from the inside out and took this form for my own. It was the choosing of my Qwa'ha Xahn, the one who wished to be my High Priest. I can wear her form if I choose to. It is simple enough."

She changes into Winnifred as she speaks. "Though the one who loved her desired otherwise. To him it was an illusion, a lie, even though shards of her memories and maybe her soul are with me. But only pieces, never to be rebuilt."

Yet, they exist and my kind lives in shadows or lesser dimensions."

She pauses at his question about the Maou. "I have a heart stone he might like. It is golden. I pulled it from the chest of a winged beast."

"I learnt compromise as weakness on battle fields now long forgotten. I've since been told that compromise is adaptation. Evolution. Survival. I have survived as less than I am. I have survived the lost of all that I knew, twice now. I have surived the loss of something I hadn't known was as....unique as it was, until it was gone. And I am still trying to survive. I have not accepted my fate. It is bitter and necessary. It is not what a King would do. I cannot command. I can only...adapt."

Lily stood silently in the Sorting Room, reading the application. Much caused her distaste, much made her insides crumble and her hand tighten on her wand in unconscious anticipation. But one thing held her firm.

"You grieve," she spoke softly. "You have lost something, and you grieve." She looked the being in the eyes, allowed herself to stare past the odd hue of the skin. "You speak of death, of war, of eons - yet you could not hold onto someone, powerful though you are." Her lips quirked as she stared down at her wand in rueful consideration. "I murdered the woman he loved when my magic infected her body and made it into the shell that holds me now. He guided me when I found I had no armies to control and no kingdom left to rule. I learnt of this world because I had her face and so I had his company. I caused him daily pain, with every look at this flesh I wear. And now that he is gone, things inside me are...disturbed."

She says it flatly, and tilts her head as a sign of her curiosity at the question. "Someone has suggested I love him. The shell loved him. Winnifred. I am Illyria. I do not think I am capable of love. But I believe he may have been a friend."
