Peyton was so happy Brooke was here. Not only was her best friend back, but she had brought alcohol. Peyton eyed over Brooke sitting beside her and smiled to herself. The two girls couldn't be more opposite, but that's why they were best friends; they always interested each other. 'So Bitch, how's Tree Hill? How are you!?' She was clearly so excited to see her.

'Oh, you know, just the usual. Tutor girl and Nathan are still argueing like schoolgirls. I think their problem is they don't have enough sex. Seriously, I'm telling you if the sex in a relationship is wrong, the whole relationship is thrown into crisis. It's true!' she smiled, proud of her relationship analysis. 'And I think Mouth has a crush on someone! He's not said it in so many words, but everytime I ask him about it he gets really shy and changes the subject. I don't know...' she shrugged. 'Lucas is just...well..Lucas' she decided not to get into any detail about him. She was unsure about her feelings and it wasn't a subject she wanted to get into- especially with Peyton. If there was one thing Brooke hated it was showing a weakness. She couldn't let herself be so vulnerable again. She decided to lighten the mood. 'Oh my God! And Tim has developed this disgusting obsession with Nathan's mom. Wrong on so many levels!' she laughed. 'So what's been going on here? Tell me all the gossip.' Brooke grinned excitedly.

Peyton laughed, 'Oh Brooke! Mouth's in love with you; you and the rest of the world know that. After that speech he gave... God! I'm trying to escape Lucas, you know? Like what he done with us... but on a larger scale. And ewww at Tim and Debs!' she said, laughing again. She hadn't laughed properly since she got here. 'And... well, I've basically been spending a lot of time with Peter.' She grinned a lot. 'Oh Brooke,' she said while flopping dramatically onto her lap. 'But there's lots of boys - and girls - for you.'

Brooke giggled. She was so glad to have Peyton back; Tree Hill just wasn't the same without her. She could tell Peyton was glad to see her too. Now they could get up to their old antics again. 'So tell me about this Peter! You haven't done anything I wouldn't do, have you?' she asked grinning. 'And boys sound like a great idea; I've been deprived for so long!' she exlaimed equally as dramatically. 'I'm not into girls though. Yet.' she added smiling cheekily.

'I haven't done anything... sort of. And I'm not like you!' she said, smiling. 'Brooke, you're into ANYTHING. I got a message from Dieter, looking for you. I think he sounded interested.' She rolled her eyes, 'Gosh, you were fast.'

"Ooooh, who's Dieter, is he hot?" she said, her spirits suddenly lifting.

She rolled her eyes. 'What next... you gonna give me the nod?' The she laughed at her classic Brooke face, 'He likes classical music and plays tennis and is... extremely hot, yes.'
