Dear Miss Palmer,
I do hope you haven't forgotten about our conversation at the sorting of Lily Potter. Can I assume that you've met with your friend, and would be up for that little walk shortly? I'd be interested in talking with you again.
-- Ichimaru Gin
Miss Sto Helit,
I have a little something for you. Shall I come by your room shortly to deliver it?
-- Ichimaru Gin
Miss Woodhouse,
I'm so terribly sorry that I neglected our correspondence! I was a little occupied with other matters.
Do you think that you might spare some time from your studies for a stroll in the gardens? I would enjoy to seeing you again~.
-- Gin
Urahara,
Who could be responsible for that picture on the secrets board (and I'm sure you know the one I'm referring to), I wonder. Perhaps you have some ideas?

I can meet you outside the Ravenclaw common room at your convenience.
-Susan Sto Helit
Because she'd be damned if she was letting Gin anywhere near her actual room.

I think there may be an unused classroom near the Great Hall where we could meet, if you'd rather I stayed away from your room
mate. ^_^-- Gin

Date: 2006-05-28 10:28 pm (UTC)Steeling herself for what she was sure was going to be another entirely-too-interesting conference, Susan rapped on the classroom door to announce her presence. "Hello, Gin."
She'd debated whether or not to bring the poker again, but in the end decided once again that it was better to not appear overly antagonistic. However, concealed under her new jacket (http://www.movie-gazette.com/directory/img/tilda+swinton.jpg) was what would at first glance appear to be a modern flashlight (http://www.hbselfdefense.com/telescopic.htm).
Her time at her grandfather's house had not, after all, been spent entirely on making new clothes for herself. And while studying defensive magic was all well and good, study of more mundane methods of defence was just as useful.

Date: 2006-05-28 09:42 pm (UTC)Oh, please do not concern yourself with such a thing. In truth, I have been away for a fortnight, visiting my father. But it was a mundane visit, one which I do not wish to discuss, should we meet.
And I would be most happy to have a walk in the garden with you. We must take advantage of the approaching summer months!
Sincerely,
Miss Emma Woodhouse

Date: 2006-05-28 11:20 pm (UTC)Oh, of course, I completely understand. After that unfortunate misunderstanding with Miss Sto Helit, I wouldn't dream of bringing up such topics as family matters.
Then perhaps later this afternoon? I entirely agree that we should take advantage of the season -- perhaps there are some new flowers in bloom since the last time we were there. I shall see you later, then!

"Good afternoon, Mr. Ichimaru. I trust that you have been well?"

Date: 2006-05-28 11:20 pm (UTC)Of course I haven't forgotten - you and our conversation are most memorable.
And I have finished catching up with my friend (I was right, he was worrying about things in his life I wasn't even aware of. I'm such a bad friend, you might think twice about taking me on as one!). However, your owl caught me in the act of sending one off to the Hufflepuff prefect Kaylee to ask her help in moving me into the dorms this evening, viz. our talk of heading off any further misunderstandings with my housemates.
I hope to spend tonight unpacking and getting acquainted with the place. I'm waiting for her reply now. Is there another prefect I should be checking in with? I haven't heard of one, but aren't there usually two?
I've made tentative plans for tomorrow to go wand-shopping in London with friends, depending on their schedules, but perhaps we could take that stroll tomorrow evening? If you're not busy, that is.
Sincerely,
Laura Palmer

Date: 2006-05-28 11:53 pm (UTC)I believe something happened to Lady Door, who was the other prefect, although I'm not sure what exactly. A shame, isn't it? Ah, well, I'm sure someone will step in to fill that vacancy shortly.
Not busy at all, Miss Palmer, not for you. I'll expect to see you tomorrow evening around sunset by the lake, then.

Date: 2006-05-29 12:14 am (UTC)As far as I know, tomorrow around sunset should be fine; as I say, my schedule for the day depends on at least one other's, maybe two. I'll owl if we're going to be longer in London than I now expect.
Oh dear. I hope that popcorn thing hasn't happened to Lady Door. Wish I understood how or why that happens. To say nothing of how it unhappens from time to time. I hear the Gryffindor prefect is just back from the Popcorn Room, and it's thrown the House into a tizzy.
I'll look forward to continuing our talk on proper forms of address.

Warded return owl.
Date: 2006-05-29 12:27 pm (UTC)which is 110% true!))Ichimaru,
I'm as curious as you are! I've yet to discover the identity of the author, however. Have you made friends with any psychics lately? Or ever had a roommate
for more than one night? Was that a love letter from you to Byakuya I saw?Urahara.
P.S. I heard you had a little accident in the woods. How are you feeling? All healed up?
HohohoRe: Warded return owl.
Date: 2006-05-29 01:02 pm (UTC)Warded return owl.
Date: 2006-05-29 01:07 pm (UTC)But then again, he says 'atashi' so perhaps he's partway there already))Urahara,
You know, for some reason nobody wants to be my roommate
for more than one night? I should feel almost insulted, I think. But no psychics. At least... not that I know of.Love letter? How funny. Perhaps my meaning was a bit too obscure. But you shouldn't interfere in things that don't concern you.

Warded return owl.
Date: 2006-05-29 01:46 pm (UTC)Ichimaru,
That's a shame. I can't ever imagine why. If you were in Ravenclaw you might have better luck~. Perhaps some other friend of yours has teased you about that same... subject, before the secrets board was put up?
Oh, I'm not interfering, there's no need for harsh words between us.
Oho, I hit a nerve.Urahara.
