((Sorry about the delay but it took me a while to decide how to play this. If you think it's unrealistic for your character to have been drunk enough/influenced by Ryuuji, you don't have to play along. Otherwise, pick any song you think your char would have sung, upload it to yousendit, then comment with a link. Easy way to share musical tastes! And if your char was drunk enough, pick a song they'd never normally sing and upload that. XD))

Over the course of the evening, everyone had been roped into trying out the karaoke machine at one point or another. Or trying it out several times, since Ryuuji hadn't been quite sure if he'd caught everyone and had compensated for that by pushing anyone he caught onto the stage and insisting that they serenade the pub.

For himself, he'd ended up performing once to break the ice, once for the hell of it and once near the end of the evening to prove he was still sober. And the fact that he thought that would prove he was sober probably testified to the fact that he was more than a little intoxicated by that point.

Dipping Sara down dramatically, Ryuuji catches her gaze and sings directly to her, Get up - life's too quick

Then pulls her back up with a dramatic flourish, twirling her away from him and gesturing at her with the mike as he continues,

I know someplace sick
Where this chick'll dance in the flames

Drawing her back to him, he addresses her directly again, eyes alight with amusement,

We don't need any money
I always get in for free
You can get in too
If you get in with me

A roguish grin accompanies the last line, and he taps her nose lightly as a sign it's her turn to take over.

*Enjoying the dancing as much as the singing, Sara picks up a full glass and toasts Ryuuji with it, as she sings:

Let's go out tonight
I have to go out tonight

Then raising her glass again, and winking at him:

You wanna play?
Let's run away
We won't be back
Before it's Christmas day
Take me out tonight

Then trying a drunken kitty face at him:

Meow!

And she starts cracking up ...

Low, smooth voice easily taking over as Sara starts laughing too hard to continue, Ryuuji goes on,

When I get a wink from the doorman
Do you know how lucky you'll be?
That you're on line with the feline of Avenue B

Quickly, before the next few lines start up, he whispers to her, "Together?", hinting the two of them should sing that part in unison.

Let's go out tonight
I have to go out tonight
You wanna prowl
Be my night owl?

Well take my hand we're gonna howl
