The response is carried back by the dragon again, but it's only taken back about an hour later, and when he returns, the green dragon has a tiny gold collar around his neck now. Delicate, thin but unmistakably there.

Written neatly, in a more careful calligraphic hand than usual, the letter consists of a three-cornered parchment with the simple message:

Okay. Be well. I won't try to get in touch unless you want me to, or you're in danger.
