Gert,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. After everything that happened I needed a few days to clear my mind. I'd rather talk to you about it in person than over owls (which sounds really strange). If you're not doing anything, meet me in my room in 5-10 minutes. If you're busy right now, let me know when a good time for you is.

"Yeah, I think after everything that happened we all needed a break"

Things got more than a little ugly. Truth be told Nico was still a little bitter over the broadcast. After all, when Gert first arrived at the school she already announced to the school that she (nico) was an emo-whore. Gert had said she said it in jest but now she was starting to wonder what Gert really thought about her.

"But now that we've had our break, we need to talk. I know I screwed up and this has gotten out of hand, but you're my friend Gert and I don't want to ruin our friendship over this."

"We both stepped out of line," the purple-haired girl admitted. "And that sucked. But honestly? Right now, I'm not thinking Chase is worth it." Gert sighed, and moved further into the room, sort of shuffling her way over to sit down next to Nico.

"This friendship," she said, "it means a lot. More than some stupid boy."

Bros before hos! Except, uh, for girls.

That would be chicks before dicks, me thinks. Inwardly Nico felt relief when she realized that Gert was more or less forgiving her and she was touched that their friendship meant so much to her. She felt the same way.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you right a way, I was scared that you'd hate me. But I realized that you had a right to know and you're my friend. Friends are suppose to work through difficult things, not ignore them or give up on them"

This was said with a small smile creeping on her lips and then her expression turned into a sympathetic one.

"Chase is worth it, he really loves you. I mean as soon as I kissed him he pushed me away and told me how much you mean to him"
